An amazing overall experience at Arborvine. Staff were knowledgeable about gluten free options and very attentive. I tried the smoked salmon appetizer, beef medallions over scalloped potatoes, and the chocolate flourless cake for dessert. All three were packed with incredible, savory flavors. We sat outside in the enclosed patio, which had plants and lights to make the space feel special. This place was truly magical, I strongly recommend.

6 stars! From checking in until we left everyone was so friendly. Our server, Carter, answered all of our questions and was so attentive. Amy the sommelier was great. Everything we ate was delicious. The best way I could describe this restaurant is fine dining, but with some actual character, and without the snooty. It was like eating at the cool aunt's house, but she runs a restaurant. We are so happy we chose to eat here. Thanks for a great experience!

Our partying 6 enjoyed a delicious meal at Arbovine. The service is great! They have a nice wine list and the food locally sourced and delicious. We made a reservation as it was high season.

This was a quiet relaxing dinner away from crowds. The menu offered a good variety. We needed a break from seafood and chose the beef and port - we were not disappointed.

Nice place. I don't mind dropping $100-$150 at a fancy restaurant, but for that price the food needs to be exceptional. My duck dish was good, but not exceptional. My wife got a pasta dish with lobster, and the lobster was overcooked. (a big no-no for a restaurant on the coast) The next night we dropped $30 at a taco place, and thought it was more satisfying than Arborvine.

Pretty good food, and innovative cuisine which does not always quite work. We enjoyed out meal but not quite to the level of a rave, and were dismayed by the extravagant size of the entrees. I had a starter of house smoked salmon layered with salmon mousse and sliced into striped rectangles. The salmon was short on flavor and the mouse did not taste of salmon at all. Both entrees tasted good, were unattractively plated, and shared the same roasted vegetables. I had fife (count 'em) lambchops, perfectly cooked, but with an aggressive coating of what seemed to be ground nuts and spices which I did not find enhanced the meat. The other entree was a whole half of a duck, more than one would normally eat. Despite my restrained enthusiasm, this is a very good restaurant. We have neebn here before are undoubtedly will return.
We had an amazing meal with friends. Arborvine is a beautiful restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. The food and service is excellent! We plan to go back.

Beyond exceeded expectations. My partner said it was the best steak of his life, and as a vegetarian who’s picky, the chef blew me away with his creative vegetarian dish. And very friendly people!

We love the Arborvine! The dining room is beautiful! The staff team culture is excellent. The food is 100% consistent in creative flair and taste.
We love the restaurant so much we wish it would choose to be open more often, especially on Easter Sunday and Memorial Day.

Every detail was delicious. We ordered a dozen oysters, Maine simply has the freshest oysters. I loved the chive mignonette slushy. The flavors paired spectacularly. I got the scallops which were good sized and perfectly seared with a slightly tart tomato sauce and oil. The cauliflower purée was a delightful surprise, the carrots perfectly cooked with hints of ginger, the chutney and potatoes were mouth watering. Best meal I’ve had anywhere down east.
My husband had the pork, it was fall off the bone with dreamy flavors matching the fare. He got the lemon mousse napoleon and I got the grand marnier mousse. I liked mine best and it had the most beautiful plating. I loved the cozy home feel of the inside dining area. Thank you so much for the wonderful service!
