Imagine my delight when I stumbled upon this small craft brewery just outside Blue Hill, Maine. Was looking to eat at the adjoining restaurant but decided it was too upscale for our dress as it had white table cloths and we were in shorts plus we didn't have reservations and they were booked solid. Decided that the bar which served the Deep water beers would make a good substitute.

The freshly shucked oysters were delicious. We tried the tasting flight of beer and were disappointed not to be able to get any to bring home. Friendly bartender/shucker/server. Cute outdoor space with corn hole Bring bug spray for the outdoor area, lots of mosquitos!

Love Deepwater. Such a pretty place with yummy comfort food. Great staff too, who always make a point of smiling at you as soon as you enter.

Small menu and last time I visited, they were out of two beer selections which wouldn't be such a big deal but they only have five on the menu. Usually a good place to go.

Not too easy to find! It's located behind the Arborvine restaurant on the back part of the parking lot. Nice property with outdoor seating. Cool arbor with fresh hops growing as an ornamental piece.Tried the amber ale - tasty, not too overbearing.
