Outdoor picnic tables were great. Very good burger, solid lobster roll, large soft serve cones.

The Fish Net has been an institution on the Blue Hill Peninsula for decades and there's a reason why. If you are looking for an authentic Maine experience you've come to the right place. The haddock is fresh, flaky and lightly battered. They let the fish shine which is what you want when you're having fresh haddock. The coleslaw is also great, it's dressed just right. I highly recommend getting a side of their coleslaw and topping your haddock burger with it for the ultimate experience! There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors as well as a small full service dine-in area. Make sure to save room for the Gifford's ice cream or soft serve! I always look forward to when The Fish Net opens for the season! Going to be dreaming of that fried haddock burger until we meet again.

Very disappointing. Picked up a haddock platter and couldn't eat it. The haddock was not very fresh as it had a fishy taste. Everything tasted like old rancid oil. Apparently, they don't change the oil they fry in as it imparts the worst flavor to everything.

Great place, great folks.

I wish they would salt the French fries when they come out of the fryer so the salt sticks.

Great food. How in the heck can it close for winter Oct 1 when it's seventy degrees outside?????

Wonderful place to eat on the go, and outdoor eating spots with good shade under the apple and pear trees.

It's okay for the price. Most stuff tastes like it was frozen and could be made better at home.

Stopped in had some onion rings very greasy, not really that good. French Fries were ok pricey 6.00 for a tiny portion of French Fries. Like I said many times, I was in the restaurant business.
30lbs of fries cost about 29.00 now, so their making a killing.
I will say that I had the best milkshake I ever had. They get a 7.5 rating

What a wonderful local food stand and restaurant. We ordered from the window and ate at a picnic table, enjoying the early summer weather. Of course there's lobster, other seafood, hamburgers, salads. Some people come just for the Gifford's ice cream. S'mores flavor was AMAZING; graham flavored ice cream with chocolate chunks and loaded with gooey marshmallow whip.

Ordered a chicken burger after asking specifically if it was patty meat or breast meat, was told it was breast. ordered small potato salad. Chicken burger ended up being patty meat. potato salad was served in one of those tiny condiment cups and had way too much mustard in it, that's all I could taste and underseasoned. I was disappointed. would probably go back to try something else just in case this was a one off. I would suggest making the side portions slightly larger.
