Big Top has top notch sandwiches and an always smiling staff. It's a treat to hear the friendly banter in the open kitchen! Definitely a great alternative to the chain restaurants. Food from their extensive menu is quickly prepared, even during rushes. A solid staple in downtown Brunswick!

My wife and twin infants stopped in to Big Top after landing in Portland and hitting an immediate drive up to Rockland. We were looking for an easy bite to eat in a casual environment to try and be simple since we had the kids and a long day behind us. We got a very friendly greeting while looking at the large menu board. I got the Reuben and my wife the Roy. Both were delicious. The cashier asked if we would like to get anything for the kids and offered a few friendly options — which was helpful for my fried brain. The guys behind the counter bantered a bit as they were wrapping up and engaged with everyone who came in. You could tell they are a staple of the community.
Cute town, easy parking, tasty sandwiches. Yall should stop in, I’m glad we did.

The food and counter service was very good, but I give this establishment only one star because as I was eating my sandwich, I witnessed who was probably the person that helped prepare the sandwich I was eating with gloves on pick up her phone, send a message, push her hair out of her face, turn around and pick up a bagel and put in the oven and then lean against the counter with her gloved hands tucked under her arm pits while she waited for it to toast.......never once changing her gloves. I was under the impression that gloves are required to keep the customer safe, not keep the workers hands clean. I won't eat here or recommend this place based solely on the way they prepare food.

We stopped in while in Brunswick looking for a place to get a late lunch. We got warm sandwiches and all three of us agreed they were delicious! Will definitely be back next time in Brunswick.
Vegetarian options: I got a sandwich that started with Avo in it had avocado and melted cheddar cheese and veggies and the whole wheat toasted.

We ordered 30+ subs/salads for a College Team. Everything was excellent and everyone loved the food. Tony, the owner, was great to work with and very accommodating to our team of 30 players. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
I'm from New York so I'm picky about "delis" in Maine. Big Top makes the BEST breakfast sandwiches. My only complaint is their hours, wish they were extended!
