For me, and many Mainer's alike, it isn't summer until you've waited in line for a Danny's hot dog. There is nothing like getting your food and stretching out somewhere on the mall to enjoy the day and everything happening around you. The prices are unbelievably good (4 dogs, chips and a drink for $11.50!) I really miss their burgers but totally understand why they aren't currently doing them. They sell until they run out, so make sure to get there for a nice early lunch if you want to be guaranteed the best hot dog around! Make sure to ask for a sprinkle of celery salt for a finishing touch, it's so so good!

This place is a staple of Brunswick. This is where locals go for the best hotdogs. Family owned and operated since its inception. It's a legacy that can never be replaced by other hot dog vendors. Our favorite street! Part of the wonder of living in Brunswick Maine is Maine Street. I think we had been living here about five years before I realize there was an E at the end of that. We love walking Main Street, exploring restaurants and small shops. The green it's a beautiful place to have a picnic or just catch some sun.
