Dutchman's is THE PLACE to get bagels in Midcoast Maine! Their coffee is pretty good, but the bagels take the cake. I had to wait in an awful line though with club music blaring in my ears and I got super overstimulated due to that and people not respecting my personal space. I wonder if maybe shutting off the to go orders during busy times would make a better and more efficient order of operations? I hate when you get to the front of the line and people are shoving by you to leave or get to the other seating options. The staff is very friendly, just think there could be a better way to organize the ordering/line to make it more customer friendly?

If you’re in the area, you must stop at Dutchman’s. Their hot coffee is really good, a bit of a berry/fruity note to it (not in a sweet way). Got the Garden State with Veggie cream cheese and Za’atar bagel and ohmygoodness was it perfection. It would definitely be good with the smoked salmon but if you a great breakfast sandwich it’s perfect as is, it just happens to be veggie which is even better if that’s what you want or are craving. Definitely is like having lox without the salmon. 10/10 and will go out of my way to come here again in the future.

I had a business breakfast here and it worked out well. Parking is a nightmare with the construction going on, but once I got in the food was amazing, the service was nice and very fast and it was quiet so we could talk business over a very tasty bagel breakfast.

Dutchman’s Bagels in Brunswick is on another level. The bagels aren’t just good, they’re the best I’ve ever had. Perfect chew, crisp exterior, and amazing freshness. The coffee matches the standard……smooth, strong, and clearly made with care. Between the bagels and the brew, it’s the kind of place that sets the bar for what a bagel shop should be.
