We have currently waited for an hour and a half for food to be served. Still waiting trying to see if we can cancel our food order. They have a very large staffing issue at this location. The servers are both new and though friendly, not yet able to handle the stress of no kitchen crew. I just wish that they had informed us it could be well over an hour and we probably would have gone elsewhere.
My food was delicious. The young lady who was hostess thst evening was pleasant and friendly. My order was prepared correctly and in a very timely manner. She even remembered to ask if I wanted to use my Birthday coupon towards my order.

Yummy food with a great companion. Morgan attended to an accidental spill quickly and with the friendliest disposition. 😁

Food was delicious and our server Morgan was totally great. She deserves a raise!
I’m not sure where the other reviews are coming from personally, but I’ve had nothing but phenomenal experiences at Margaritas the many times I have eaten here. Here are some of my personal recommendations:
Favorite Bar Drinks: Blood Orange Margarita, Mangonada
Best drink for those who don’t like the taste of alcohol: Russelrita, Heavens to Margatroid
Favorite Appetizers: Chicken Baby Chimis, Spicy Coconut Wings, Hector’s Quesadilla
Favorite Tacos: Chipotle Chicken Tacos (spicy)
Best recommendation for boozy night: Birria tacos or Birria Quesadilla (consume is so delicious-and soaks up the alcohol 😌)
The food and service has been nothing but phenomenal in my experience. Jacob, Nicole, and Sadie are a few of the phenomenal servers and bartenders whom have taken care of me at Margaritas. I know they have been short staffed (based on the hiring sign) which I cannot fault them for, but they try their best with the smiles on their faces and the communication the servers offer. It is my personal belief that this is one of the best Mexican Restaurants in the area and you honestly can’t beat the prices and the atmosphere this restaurant has to offer. You can even get Margaritas and cocktails to go! The menu also rotates seasonally so you are constantly having the ability to try something new. Best time to dine in is Monday-Thursday (afternoons and evening). Margaritas gets very busy Friday, Saturday, and Sunday so don’t fault the staff for the larger crowds. Cinco de Mayo is also one of their biggest days. Regardless, the staff is phenomenal whenever you do dine in 😊 Happy dining!

Everything took longer than it should have. Apparently a party of 9 is more than they can handle. The last meal came out 10 minutes after the first one, and was somehow burnt and cold at the same time.

It was our second time stopping in for a drink, both experiences were not ideal.
The hostess is always pleasant, but the bartenders are lacking. The first visit was Cinco De Mayo, the place was understandably busy. We sat at the bar and promptly the bartender showed up with chips/salsa and to take our drink order. I ordered a flight and 2 waters, my fiancé was mid sentence for a beer but the bartender took off. After some time, someone brought the flight and one water, but didn’t stay long enough for us to order his beer. We used our phones to look up the food menu, however the guests on either side of us, that were sat after us, were not only given menus but acknowledged long enough to order food. After 40 min we had to hound someone for our check. We passed it off as it being really busy.
Today we thought we’d give it another go, it’s a slow Saturday. Walk in, hostess is pleasant, bar is a little busy, sit down. After 2 min someone walks by and says she’ll be right with us. Another 5 min, a different bartender says the same thing. A total of 10min with not even a food menu, we walked out.
Everyone else was being served, so I’m not sure it’s an attentiveness issues due to the awkward bar seating, or straight disregard. Anyways, I had to share.

Can't say much about this place. Made a special trip out here to find the place not open at noon. Strange hours to find a place in this area not open for lunch.

Service was friendly. Food was as expected, I suggest the shredded beef burrito with red and green sauce. Generous servings and lean meat. The atmosphere is fun inside with the decor. We sat outside.

This is a tough one to write. The food and atmosphere was amazing when they first opened. The decor and cleanliness and friendliness of the staff is still all great. The food has just gone severely downhill to the point that it’s barely edible. I’ve ordered takeout and gotten steak that was blacker and chalkier than charcoal and the rice and beans are consistently sour and have an off taste to them. Today’s meal just wasn’t good with the rice and beans yet again tasting horrible to the point no one at the table touched them. We also overheard the table next to us order new rice because theirs tasted bad as well and they were not satisfied with the second “new” rice they received. The child of the group basically starved with the two tiny chicken tenders they got (used to be three) and small side of clearly pre-cut and chemical-filled avocado. I truly want to see this place succeed and continue to thrive in brunswick, but if the food continues to be this horrible, people are going to go elsewhere.
