I stopped by The Gelato Fiasco on Maine Street, and it instantly became one of my favorite dessert spots in Brunswick! The gelato was absolutely delicious, the portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable, great quality and quantity all around.
The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they take pride in both their service and their product. I’d rate it a solid 10/10 and would absolutely recommend it to anyone craving something sweet.
My personal favorites were the fresh cookie and cardamom gelato, both were unique, creamy, and packed with flavor. Perfect ending to a day in downtown Brunswick!

I have loved Gelato Fiasco for years ever since trying their dark chocolate sorbetto! It’s witchcraft how creamy and delicious the chocolate is. I always pair it with one of the beautiful fruity sorbettos. This time the Maine blueberry - yum.

The flavors are not specifically marked vegan. But the pans with red spoons are vegan. Had the Oreo noir and strawberry balsamic. Fantastic combo. Almost went back for a second cup.

So many delicious flavors! Dark Chocolate Noir, Thai Tea, Fresh Cream, Toasted Coconut, and Strawberry are some of the best flavors! Also, they give huge portions (even if you order the Treat size)!

Elliott (the one from Brunswick) was serving someone who was outwardly-presenting neurodivergent; he was just as patient, kind, positive, helpful, respectful, and enthusiastic as he was with every single neurotypically-presenting customer. When there was any kind of communication issue, he was excellent at rephrasing, clarifying, demonstrating, without talking down to anyone. You go, Elliott

Everyone is super nice and kind. They allow samples which is fantastic. The vibes are so great, they want people to hang. I also really appreciate the way they do tips with you grabbing a poker chip with an amount and handing it to them or else they don’t ask.
The mango and peanut butter are the best things ever! Can’t wait to go back!!!

The gelato here was really good and the bathrooms were clean. there was only one person working and there was a long line but she got through it pretty quickly. The waffle cones are really good and they have plenty of seating inside and you can also take your ice cream outside to eat or go for a walk. The place was really nice and we would definitely come back.
