I had the Italian sandwich on Gluten Free bread. First time in 5 years I've had a really good GF sandwich. Usually it is very small and on bread that falls apart right away. Not this one! Absolutely delicious sandwich. Going back there as soon as I can!

I only went in long enough to grab a couple brownies, which were very good! I will be back to dine!

Just updating my review to say it's still as excellent as ever!

Excellent food in a cozy cafe atmosphere. Seriously, it was sooo good! Easily the best casual restaurant in the area.

We tried Walters for the first time on Monday and what a pleasant surprise. The sanwiches were very good but the real highlight was the mushroom soup! It is highly recomended. Walters is not a cheap place but one where you feel welcome and have a nice meal.

Found this gem as a random lunch search and I’m so glad I did. I was looking for something fresh, healthy, and quick. I love that it was served with real utensils and plate (why is this so hard to come by these days?) They have a wall of home brewed teas which I’ll have to try next time I’m in the area. Variety of seating and a cool space. 4 stars atmosphere because of the music choice isn’t my vibe 🫣

Do not miss this hidden (both literally and figuratively) gem! Stopped in for breakfast and had a delicious slice of quiche (cremini mushroom and fennel sausage) with a side salad and a muffin. Service was great and the price was reasonable. Will be stopping in again soon.

Usually very happy with the food here....better than 4 stars I think. Lettuce salad and Walter's simple dressing is the main draw for me. Soups, breads, other things....are very good. We go frequently.

This place opens too late to be a cafe, most people are going to work at 8:00, but just like everything else in Brunswick, it's overpriced tourist BS. I should not have to pay SIXTEEN DOLLARS for HALF of a stale sandwich thats been sitting in a case all day. They also had no vegetarian options. The drinks are fine, and the baked goods are fine, the staff is super friendly but honestly who cares? I'd rather a rude person give me some good food, but the only good spots in brunswick are the ones run by immigrants. They know how to cook!

Walter’s Cafe is a very friendly restaurant. Their turkey and cranberry sandwich and blueberry coffee cake are my top recommendations.
