Very, very dated, smelled like stale smoke. Friendly host. Only one electrical outlet. Coffee maker but no cups, coffee or other supplies. Clean bed. BYO amenities such as coffee and coffee cups! Not sure if there is any coffee available at the registration desk. It’s 6:00 am and there is no light on in there lol. The website has no information.
Do not stay here unless you are so desperate you can't find any place to stay! I read the reviews but I can't remember why I booked anyway! It was our first two nights in Maine before we went to Bar Harbor area for our reservation. And I wish I had researched farther with a 2 night stay!! It was so far from amenities and the room was terrible! The bathroom sink Hot water didn't work and electrical outlets were non existent! It was absolutely not worth the price! Bed was not comfortable and towels pretty thin! Please, DO NOT book here!
Food was lukewarm.
The lady who owns the hotel and dinner is very nice and the veggie burger and buffalo chicken wrap were very good.
Ausome place and people.
A hidden gem! The food here is outstanding. The people are friendly and attentive. The surf & turf was delicious and the homemade chocolate cake was to die for! The others at my table were equally pleased with their meals (prime rib for 2 of them & seafood plater for the other). Will be back for dinner again & will also try breakfast soon!
A homey place with good food and a very friendly staff. I wasn't sure what to expect as we pulled into the drive. This is a restaurant that is part of a motel. We visited on father's day, I had the rib special and my wife had the chicken fingers. Both plates were very good with a homemade taste. The staff was really nice and super friendly. I felt like I was being served by family I hadn't seen in a long time. Don't judge this book by its cover. As we are visiting only for a few days we won't have a chance to go back but when we visit the area again we will be sure to eat here.
Great service and great food

Really good food with great prices. Home cooking taste even on their take out is yummy.

Friendly people who are very nice
You could smell the grease when you walked in but it was late and we were hungry so we decided to take a chance. I had chicken parm, the chicken was dry and curled up on the end. What has to happen for a filet of chicken to do that? They should be ashamed for sending that out. I scraped off the greasy batter and ate the pieces that didn't look as bad. The garlic toast had one sliver that looked cooked, the rest was plain bread. The marinara wasn't bad. My wife choked down her quesidia (sp?) But it was mediocre at best. When I got home from my $36 meal, I ate a can of outdated spaghettios to get the aftertaste out of my mouth.
I went there for Thanksgiving and I was not impressed with the main course. They served turkey loaf instead of the real turkey bird.
This was our second and last visit to this restaurant. We ordered the mussels as an appetizer. Although they were flavorful they were overcooked. We both ordered the king cut prime rib as an entree. It was cold and perhaps the toughest piece of meat either of us has ever eaten. A $64 disappointed.
Was nice to grab fair food for the kids since I doubt they'll have any to attend this fall :( so having fried doe was a nice treat :)
