I grew up in Camden and I’ve been visiting the bagel cafe since childhood. Unfortunately it’s not what it used to be. The bagel was okay, but it was really dry and overcooked and the cream cheese was also dry and crumbly. Flavors were good but it wasn’t the same soft, handmade bagel and fresh cream cheese that I was used to. This was my first visit back in over a year (home for the holiday) and it was kind of sad to be honest.

These guys are awesome! We've been coming here for decades. Low key, low stress place with fresh hot coffee, great food, casual atmosphere and the nicest staff. Right on Main Street with great spots to sit right in the windows which we always like. The owner Mark is also very nice, and Angelica is the absolute best :)

They were very accommodating at closing time. They were out of rye bread for the Reuben, got it on a onion bagel and this should be on the menu full time it was amazing

Said thanks guys to the cashier & cook and got crickets. They were in front of me as I picked up my food. Wish we could tip after getting our food, I wouldn’t have given 20%. Tables not cleaned. Egg & Meat sandwich was pretty good, a fair amount of empty bread, but I didn’t need it. Good smokey flavor in the ham, my order was correct. Simple but good. Needs a cleaning for 5 stars.

Great bagels and fantastic place to sit. The staff are very friendly. It's excellent to get a classic bagel that's fresh.

I am leaving this review in defense of the fine folks working on Wednesday. It was a busy morning and everyone was working as fast as they could while dealing with an absolute monster of a guest who complained about the cutting of her bagel, the tomato slice, the fact that her name wasn’t called while she watched her food on the counter get cold without, oh I don’t know, collecting her food. I found my sandwich delicious, served timely and the service friendly. I guess if complaining in a charming shop in a seaside town is your thing, don’t.

The bagel and cream cheese assortment is great. Amazing Greek salad. Horrible location, the previous space was bigger. The new Main Street location is awful. There is no room to even wait for the bagels. IF you decide to sit down you end up being crowded by the line waiting to order. Parking was easier at the previous location as well. Please move somewhere better! 🥰

Needed some breakfast sandwiches with meat for a change. Stopped in (after spending WAY too much time trying to find a parking spot) and ordered two bagel, egg and cheese sandwiches. Then we waited…..and waited….and waited, for maybe 20 plus minutes or so. It seems kind of quick, easy, basic and simple to me but anyway…..after I decided to get up and stand close to the counter and kitchen, our food was ready. It was delicious, just difficult and lengthy to finally sit down and eat.

We had breakfast there with our family. There were six of us. Two of us had coffee which we mixed 1/2 Dark Harbor and 1/2 French Roast which we enjoyed with some almond milk. Our order: Grandchildren shared a Salt Bagel toasted, withGarlic Herb cream cheese Mini Muffin, The adults (who keep to a vegan diet) got: Medium Iced A "Hummus and all the Veggies" on a toasted Sesame Bagel A "Hummus and all the Veggies" on a toasted While Wheat with Italian Seasonings Bagel which had to be remade because it got cut in the kitchen with a knife that left a cream cheese smear on the sandwich. Toasted Rye (was actually pumpernickle) Bagel with hummus, Sprouts, Pickled Red Onion Toasted Whole Wheat Italian Seasonings Bagel with Tofutti (R), Tomato, Red Onion, and Sprouts The bagels are smaller and harder than New York bagels. This might be a Maine style thing. They were tasty despite being small. I was hungry so I had two, which I generally don't do. It's a popular and busy place. They ran out of salt bagels before I could order one. The grandchildren split the last one with an order placed at 8:30am. It's definitely a "get there early if you want a wider selection kind of place." I would go back again but would be very careful to make sure they cleaned their knife before cutting the bagel sanwhich to assure I wasn'tgetting unwanted dairy in my food. Having to have 2 orders remade due to sloppy kitchen practices is not reassuring that they respect their customers. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-15
