First time there. We were pleasantly surprised at the breadth of the menu. So many attractive offerings. Service was outstanding too with great recommendations when we were torn between two or three. We settled on the Atlantic halibut . Delicious.crème brûlée was wonderful. On the way out, I stopped by the desk and made a reservation for two days hence.

Wonderful experience at Frannys! Food, drinks and service was first class. It was the only place we made a reservation for while in Maine and it exceeded our expectations.
Wonderful experience! Food, drinks and service were excellent. Highly recommend the Lobster Fritters and Caesar Salad as an app. Barcelona or Old Fashioned to drink. Steak and Linguine were great for entrees. 10/10 would go back!

Frannny’s is a small out of the way place that serves great food! Something went wrong when I placed my reservation. When we got there they informed us that our reservation was for next week! They were very accommodating and sat us anyway! The staff is wonderful! Limited parking but we found a place near by, there is also street parking.

We made a reservation for bar seating for our anniversary, and we were blown away by how amazing our dinner at Franny's was. From the appetizers to the main dishes, the food couldn't have been better. The wine list gave us lots of options at different price points, as well, which was appreciated. Furthermore, we so enjoyed chatting with our bartender, Mary, and everyone who helped serve us was lovely. We cannot wait to make dinner at Franny's more of a habit!

Franny's remains our midcoast go-to for a nice meal out. The food is creative without being pretentious; the chef is deeply committed to his craft; and he and his wife Jennifer both seem to love what they do. The kraken (calamari in balsamic etc.) remain addictively good, and no one cooks a better halibut than Jack.

Wonderful experience at Franny's. The A/C was not working well on a hot day so they seated us outside under a tent with fans - It was lovely. Service was attentive, cocktails done well. We had the lobster fritters and asian dumplings with cucumber salad for appetizers. For entrees we had crab cakes, rack of lamb and tuna. All were done perfectly. Having added the outdoor area is a big improvement and allows for them to accomodate more diners, since the inside dining area is pretty small. We had not gone here for a couple years since we had some bad experiences with service after they changed hands from Francine's to Franny's but decided to give them another try. boy are we glad we did. They are back to what they used to be - good service, great food. It will definitetly become one of our "go to " restaurants again.
