We took a sunset sailboat cruise and realized that most restaurants in Camden either required a reservation or were closing after the boat ride, so we ended up at Peter Ott’s. The line looked long but they were able to get my party of 2 in within 10 mins. As a vegetarian, there weren’t a ton of options, but the veggie burger was fine (pretty sure it was just a well executed frozen veggie patty) and the fries were good. Went in for dinner Friday night with a small group of friends and while it was very busy, we were able to get a table quickly. Our server, Austin, was prompt and attentive throughout the whole meal. He answered our questions, was very knowledgeable about the food and offered great food/drink recommendations! Our group ordered a quite a variety and everything was delicious. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Peter Ott’s (and Austin!) to anyone!
After a week up and down the Maine coast and sampling dozens of restaurants my wife and I stumbled into Peter Ott’s restaurant in Camden for lunch. Fish Tacos for her and fish and chips for me. Not the first time we’d each ordered the same meal in other places. Well we wound up coming back for a dinner of fried scallops, corn and lobster chowder, panko crusted Halibut and beet salad.
