Called 3 times because we wanted to know their happy hour menu that was advertised. No one answered. Showed up after driving 30 minutes. They were closed for an event. Staff all around setting up. Super frustrating. Wish someone would’ve just answered the phone and we didn’t have to make the drive to find that out.

The food was great! I had the halibut and my husband and mother had the lobster roll and really enjoyed it. The $10 martini was also a solid deal. Service was great. We had the young women with bangs and she was extremely attentive with our needs. Handled a really high-maintenance table near us that was being extremely loud and couldn’t help but notice. Only con was that our dinner could have come out a bit sooner, and the atmosphere inside is quite overwhelming. Loud and busy, so wouldn’t recommend if you’re looking for a more peaceful dinner.

My husband and I have been looking forward to visting Camden Maine all summer and dining at Salt Wharf. It was well worth the wait! Not only was the food fabulous but the views and atmosphere were amazing. The lobster rolls were huge with sweet, fresh lobster meat! The apps came out quickly (steamed mussels- delicious!) and the staff was friendly. I can't wait to go back. I don't ususally write reviews but highly recommend this dining experience! You wont be disappointed!

We enjoyed a fun dinner with friends on the rooftop. It was a perfect summer evening with delicious food and creative cocktails, with stellar service to top it all off! We will be back!

$38 for 3 scallops and about a quarter cup of rice with no side was total crap. The scallops didn’t have much flavor either. Also, the menu is different if you want to sit outside vs inside. We were originally sat upstairs outside but only had 3 entrees all which were sandwiches. My wife wasn’t very hungry and just ordered their French fries and oh my God… they were very soggy. Frozen fries from a generic brand would have been more enjoyable, oh and it was $10 with some weird tasting herb dip and usually I love herbs. Lastly, the $16 cocktails didn’t have much flavor. Service was just ok. Overall a very disappointing experience.

They cancelled my reservations for 10 of us on a Friday night in Camden 4 days before the date for a “private function”. Impossible to get a reservation in Camden for 10 people on a Friday night in the summer on 4 days notice. $$ trumps responsibility/commitment to their customers for these folks. Don’t bother with the place.

Have wanted to try this place for a couple years. It is always packed. We went to the upstairs deck on a sunny summer evening. It was empty, perhaps due to a regatta party down the wharf. Bartender took our drink order and promptly proceeded to bring my husband’s beer and completely blow off my order. Wine selection is odd and nothing I have heard about. Ordered a white (only choice) it was not good. Besides the view, not much positive to say

We had such a lovely dinner we came back the next day for drinks on the rooftop!! Ian was a wonderful bartender and so friendly. The drinks were perfect for summer time and highly recommend getting the Oyster Roulette!!
We had a great experience at the Salt Wharf two days in a row. Ian at the rooftop bar made us feel welcomed and provided exceptional service. Next time we’re in Camden we’ll be stopping by for more great food and drinks.

Such a great spot! The food was super tasty and the drinks were amazing too. Our server was so friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We sat on the rooftop where the sunset views were absolutely stunning. Honestly, everything was on point. Can’t wait to come back!

I went to Saltwharf while visiting this quaint little town. If i could give it more stars i would. From the friendly welcome, amazing and attentive staff, and food that was absolutely mouth watering. I had the pleasure of meeting Michelle and she truly made the experience 10/10. She was very attentive and gave me amazing recommendations. She was absolutely lovely. They are lucky to have her. If you visit, you must go to Saltwharf. I definitely recommend it.
