So glad we found this roof top bar. It was a beautiful night with a spectacular view. We only had a beer but the servers were very nice and attentive.

Fabulous little hotel in Camden, Maine. The details and design were perfect in this renovated space. We only stayed one night as this was a last minute addition to our trip and I wish we had stayed longer. The room was luxurious and had so many amenities. Balcony, rain shower/soaking tub, heated floors in the bathroom, gas fireplace. Perfect location within walking distance to everything. Staff was courteous and helpful. The rooftop bar was fantastic with a view of the harbor. The only issue was limited parking, but the staff quickly assisted us and we were able to find a spot with their advice. If I am ever in Camden again, I will not hesitate in booking a room at 16 Bayview.

Second time staying at the loft at 16 Bay View. I could not think of a better place for a family to stay. It has a wonderful open plan, great views of the harbor, amazing access to the city of Camden and very nice amenities available from the hotel including breakfast and parking.

The staff are the best from making reservations, to checking in and out. Great charm and hospitality make all the difference. Highly recommend. Parking, as everywhere, is limited but they go out of their way to accommodate the guests.

Amazing amenities in this boutique hotel stand out in Camden. 16 Bay View is an easy walk in town, with breakfast included; gluten free options are available. After cocktails and tapas in front of the fire, enjoy a walk around the Harbor town before dinner. Afterwards, relax by the gas fireplace or on the balcony in your large private room. The bed pillows are the ultimate from Cuddledown. A double-bath features a huge clawfoot soaker tub and a rain shower. Having two sinks means you won't need to share and you'll have more time to enjoy the Gilchrist & Soames amenities. Soft bath towels finish the relaxing experience.

This was a Wonderful hotel. Right in the heart of Camden. Walking distance to everything you could want to explore; shops, waterfront restaurants, schooner cruises, art galleries, etc. And best of all was our 2 room harbor view suite with fireplace that we appreciated on our rainy day, and a bath that was roomy and equipped nicely. Did not get to check out the roof top bar due to weather, but we will definitely check it out next time we stay! Breakfast was nicely done in the lobby bar and very satisfying to start our day. Highly recommend!!!

Incredible historic hotel right on the harbor. Walking distance to everything. Rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Our balcony looked out over the harbor. Great bed with the softest pillows. Cozy bar off the lobby with excellent staff. I would definitely stay again.
Y'all....This hotel was the absolute best place to stay in Camden. Location was perfect and right in the middle of everything. Staff was super awesome. The room was exactly like living in the owners suite of a nice home. The room was set up with a pull out sofa, a dining area, a fireplace (which heated the room nicely), the bathroom was HUGE. It had a shower room and a bubble tub. The best part....HEATED FLOORS! If you have the means, totally spring for a harbor view room. The view was unmatched. I believe all rooms have a balcony with chairs and a table. The harbor views were spectacular. They had a rooftop bar which was popular and cute. They also had a lounge area down near the main lobby called the "Vintage Room". They served breakfast in the morning and cocktails and small plates in the evening. When they designed this hotel, you can tell they thought of absolutely everything down to receptacle placement. Camden is just an all around great place to stay. If we ever return this direction.....16 Bay View will definitely be where we rest our heads.

Beautiful room with a gas fireplace. A lovely shower & modern bathroom. Loved the bar area in the evening & breakfast in the morning was delicious. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We were very pleased with our stay.

The suite was very large, clean and comfortable. Great shower and huge soaking tub with jets. We couldn't get into our room until well after 3:00, after being told a few times it would be a few more minutes. I did suggest to the hotel that they push back their check-in time if this is going to be an issue, as some of us rely on getting in no later than 3:00. Breakfast was pretty good, but a little more variety for vegetarians and healthy eaters would be great. The location is fabulous! The staff was friendly, and of course the Vintage Room is a great place for some late afternoon or early evening cocktails. Overall this is a nice hotel and we would likely stay here again.
