After a trip from one side of Maine to the other, this has been one of our favorite meals! Hubby had The Viking, (which also helps the local schools athletic department!), and along with an abundance of meat and fresh veggies... they added fresh jalapeños! Hot heaven! He also had a raspberry filled cookie for dessert. I had the Big Mama, a hot meatball sub (grinder) with a delectable sauce, fresh veggies and very generous amount of cheese. I was happy to find peach tea and a piece of really good peanut butter pie! Comfort food at its best!
This is a take out place, there were no tables. I was really impressed by how clean everything was; not only at the front counter but everything I could see running back to the kitchen.

1st time visit. Ordered 2 subs specifically and got nothing I asked for 1 sub was only meat bread and mayo didn't have any cheese when I asked for provolone. The other subhad no cheese specially asked for provolone and requested no lettuce and no cucumbers bit it was on the sub. Attemted to contact management and noone was availble. What a waste of money. People taking orders need to learn to pay attention. Quess I won't be back a second time. Sucks to loose customers in such small towns

For the quality of food, cost, time involved with cooking, and current grocery prices, it’s just as well for me to eat Caribou Sub Shop 3 times a day most days. Other bonus. No dishes to do at home!

I was nervous about the Caribou Sub Shop having taken over from Cindy's but I'm pleased to report that the new owners are doing a great job. Same great service and my beloved Big M lives on as the Viking Sub. Still have great deserts too!

great food and friendly staff. I have notice with my usual wrap there isn't much in the sandwich the last few times had a NY wrap today and it only had 3 to tiny pieces of chicken in it and a ton of honey mustard and lettuce. hoping this improves but will keep going back as the food is good otherwise.

We were told about lobster subs here. We stopped, bought 2 lobster subs & Crabmeat Sub. They were in a large Italian roll, home made. (Not hotdog roll) Very good wish we lived closer. Highly recommend. Will be back next time we travel thru.

We love stopping at Cindy's Sub Shop and more. I had a large taco salad (easily good for two meals?) and my husband gets his favorite a large big M (another 2 mealer). The staff greats you with a warm smile ready to take your order. Everything is homemade and customized to order.
