When at Sugarloaf and in need of coffee- this is the place! Small shop with a lot of character and some great tasting coffee. All of it is roasted locally by Carrabassset Coffee Company, I ended up purchasing a bag while I was there, and very affordable too for 12oz. They also have small food options, the bagels are really good with a ton of spread options. Customer service was excellent, highly recommended to check this place out if you enjoy coffee.

The resort was in a great location with streams and rivers running nearby and creatin a spectacular view with foliage setting. The Skie lift to the top of the mountain was very refreshing and relaxing with great views of foliage and surrounding mountains. The service was great, and guests were treated with respect and dignity.

The staff were wonderful, and to visit off season gave this hotel a very laid back vibe. Late check out was a very appreciated option and late night when the village was empty, and the moon was out above the ski lifts. It was just awesome.

What a complete disappointment. Upon arriving to our room, we discover you have to climb this little, old wood, small spiral staircase to get to the bedroom. Dangerous to try to get yourself up the stairs, let alone your clothes/suitcase into the bedroom, so they do have a clothes dresser by the entrance door at the bottom of the spiral stairs. Staff said they couldn't offer me a room without the spiral stair case. We are here the first week in August 2023, the place is virtually empty and they wouldn't offer us a different room with no stairs to a bedroom Terrible customer service. The bathroom sink wouldn't drain the first night. After two calls to the front desk, they did get it to drain. The rooms were clean, but dated. The advertisement said there was a swimming pool at the hotel, but there is not one, only a hot tub. You have to drive down the road a ways and pay $12 per person to use it for the day. It was closed today. Many of the activities that we saw advertised for summer fun - ski lift, frisbee golf, mountain biking, and other activies were closed. Half of the restaurants on site and in the area are closed on Monday and Tuesdays. We checked out after our second night and going to stay somewhere else. Good bye.

This was a last minute booking as our previous place fell through. An overnight stop on our way to Quebec city. We received the warmest of welcomes by Kirstin and her colleague (sorry didn't catch his name) from the moment we stepped inside the hotel. We were delighted with our choice. We were given a lovely super spacious room for our family of 4. The hotel is spotlessly clean, couldn't fault it at all. Yes it is a little less modern but cleanliness and a friendly welcoming smile goes a very long way in our books. Thank you Kirstin for all the helpful info and just being a really lovely friendly person. They are lucky to have you. We would love to come back and stay in winter! We didn't use the hotel restaurant so can't comment on that. But we happily recommend the hotel itself. And what a location for skiers!

Easy check in & out. Nice easy access to the ski hill and ski lockers included. Unit was comfortable, clean and parking close by, just over priced at $366 night. The 2 hr wait for an overpriced $26 burger on a non crowded Sunday night at 45North Restaurant was a little ridiculous. $21 for three scallops! Spend the $21 on the mussels instead, much more fare. I'll be staying elsewhere in future.

Hotel is very underwhelming and needs to be updated. Food is mediocre. Friendly staff but customer service reps when trying to adjust booking due to illness were not understanding and acted with no compassion. I will never stay here again.

So comfortable and welcoming! Thoughtful touches everywhere. Wonderful staff. We had a 1br hotel room and shared it with our teen sons. Each boy had a bed: a Murphy and a sofabed. Everyone rested easy and the kitchenette was stocked with basic needs. Great breakfast buffet in 45 North included. Highly recommend!

Cute little shop with great coffee and a friendly barista made my experience worthy of 5 stars. All the brews are Carrabassett Coffee Company, so the quality is consistent.

We were here for a wedding and really enjoyed the staff, the rooms and the area. I would like to recognize Hunter and Adam at the front desk. They are polite, friendly and very helpful. They provided some great suggestions on things to do a places to eat. They made our experience that much better.

The hotel looks great on the outside and the rooms look good on the website too, but… The rooms are nothing special and are in need Of a face-lift… it just looks outdated and tired. Also the shower needs safety hand rails. I nearly slipped and there was nothing to grab on to… The rooms were clean. And the front desk staff was excellent. The on site restaurant was good, but pricey. The outdoor hot tub was large, but not very hot. Also the 10pm closing time was a bit early for vacationers.

The mountain is great. The hotel is very good, but make sure you inquire exactly about where you can park without making a $40 donation to the Carrabassett Valley Police Department. Once, one could park in the top lot, but that’s now for shuttles. Now the second lot below the hotel is valet and 2-hour parking, despite you getting a hotel parking pass. Now, apparently, you can park with confidence in the lots with the day traffic.

Better off going to D'ellies across the street. Ordered a bagel, girl at cash register took our payment (touch our money and Register) walked over and made our bagel without washing her hands or using a glove. Not acceptable. I also believe D'ellies is less expensive, much better service and better quality

This place, and it’s staff members, simply amazing. Especially Chelsea and GM Sandy. Efficient, pleasant and helpful. A great representation of and first impression for this place. Proof that it cost nothing to smile and be nice, and accommodating….yet it is priceless in today’s day and age. THANK YOU!!!! I recommend this awesome place. Will be back. Because of Lina, Heath, Becky Sarah, and Tom of Guest Services. Fryeguy Chris is the bomb too!!!!

My sister and I stayed here and loved it. Best things:. Large rooms, friendly and helpful staff, only an hour to the Canadian border and fabulous jacuzzi. We soaked in it each night. The hotel was quiet as it was off season and the leaves were starting to change which was amazing to see. We will be back.
