Strokes Bar and Grille

Quality of food was really good, especially in comparison to other choices in the area. Fresh greens, good flavors. Wait staff was superb. Good selection of Maine beers. Was exactly what I needed before playing 18. A bit pricey but I can say that about the entire Carrabassett Valley experience.

This is a fantastic course, and the staff is extremely welcoming. The view are amazing, and the food is very nicely done.

My husband and I stopped by for lunch and waited for a while to be served. Lunch was good but my salad was not quite what I ordered. We waited again for our check and felt that service was slow considering how few tables were occupied. Maybe we came on a day that was short staffed. Still worth a stop.

Ask for Laurel (of "Laurel's Skinny Salad" fame). She's usually in the kitchen and she can give you golfing and skiing tips.
