I’ve been told that I needed to visit Mughal Palace so many times, so I know their food is amazing. What my boyfriend and I just experienced from their customer service, though, was incredible.On our way up to the Augusta area, we called ahead to order three dinners. Barely 10 minutes later our car starting giving us problems, forcing us off the highway. I called Mughal Palace to give them a heads up that we’d be late because I thought it might be a quick fix (they had already started the order so we didn’t want to cancel). When it became obvious that we weren’t going to make it, my boyfriend called to cancel the order. We felt SO bad ordering so much food that we weren’t going to pick up, but instead of expressing his frustration, the lovely man on the phone offered to deliver us the food- a 40 minute drive!! He was so sweet and understanding; we couldn’t believe it.Thank you so much! You made a hard night a little easier!!

Ordered for the first time here today and it is amazing! Didn’t know what to expect as we have disliked the other local places since they were “Americanized”, however, this place exceeded expectations. Highly highly highly recommend the muttar paneer and garlic naan. ?? they also did a phenomenal job accommodating my nut allergy!Dietary restrictions: Great job accommodating allergens!!

Expectation at this place is higher than I imagined. I have been coming to Augusta area for a while now. First time I tried indian here. Since there aren't lot of Indians around, I Imigned food will not have the same taste. But I went there regardless. I gotta say. Every time I will be in augusta. My everyday dinner will be here. Outstanding service and outstanding food. The Spicyness level was perfect. The owner is super nice. 110/100

Amazing Indian cuisine in Central Maine! Don’t let the building’s exterior or adjacent properties fool you: the food and wonderful family behind the cuisine at Mughal Palace are 100% amazing! The samosas we enjoyed were crispy, flavorful, and utterly craveable. And the accompanying fresh sauces? Out-of-this-world delicious!!!! We loved the aloo paratha, and our entrees (spicy lamb mutter and chicken tikka masala) were exceptional in every way. Cannot wait to go back: we adore Mughal Palace!!!Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious vegetarian options prominently featured on the menu!

Stopped in for take out after arriving in Maine. Food was excellent as was the conversation with the owners daughter while we waited. Wonderful to know there are young kids with so many ideas and visions for our future!!

Got take out from here a while back the food is delicious! I had the garlic Naan and chicken Tikka Masala! The Naan was savory and chewy. The chicken was tender, spicy, and really flavorful. They both paired really well together. It also comes with bismati rice it was simple but also went well with the chicken. The staff are really nice.I recommend this restaurant!

Six friends and I ordered out for the first time from this restaurant, which is takeout only, and were absolutely delighted with the experience. We all got different types of meals, including vegetarian, which has a huge choice, and no one was in the least disappointed. The breads were delicious, and the dips that go with the breads were excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant.

First time trying Indian food, so i can't compare it. But what we did have was absolutely delicious! The keema and kabuli naan were our 2 favorites. We also had butter chicken and lamb vindaloo, both fantastic choices. I would definitely order both dishes again. The person who took our order was very nice and our food was waiting nice and hot when we got there for take out. I do hope that some time in the future, they reopen the buffet. It would definitely give me a chance to try a taste of different dishes to see what else we'd enjoy.
