Small town coffee shop. Nice atmosphere. They seem to have a selection of cakes and sweets . A full menu of sandwiches and such . I just get coffee . I'm usually in a hurry . The staff seems friendly enough

My wife and I visit the loon all the time, excellent food. The riverside Reuben in particular is my favorite. Thanks to the loon staff that make such excellent food and provide wonderful service every time we go

Awesome local business with the most deee-licious menu. Not your typical sandwich shop!!! Not only a Downeast vibe but down-home also, really feel welcome. Wonderful selection on menu and the portions are nice and large. Love the "surprise" lunch specials.
Sweet people and comfort food

Absolutely scrumptious! The sandwiches are hot and tasty and loaded, the baked goods are fresh with lots of variety, and the hot apple cider is the perfect cozy treat! The whole place is beautifully decorated and there’s tables inside and outside (the outside tables overlook the river!) Be sure to make a stop here, you’ll be very glad you did!
Parking: Large gravel parking lot, plenty of room even at peak lunch hours.

Today was my first time stopping on my way to Jonesport! The coffee is so good. And the style of the place its self gives me Gilmore girl vibes! Staff is amazing and a definite stop on my next trip downeast!
Please take the time out of your travels to stop at the Paisley Loon. Such delicious food, FABULOUS coffee, and best of all the atmosphere. Lovely people behind the counter and the ambiance is top notch. We only had breakfast and coffee here but I can only assume everything else is just as good! The view of the river at the outdoor seating is awesome. Take the time to stop by, YOU WILL NOT REGRET.

I can't speak for the breakfast, but our experience having sandwiches there made us feel like the UNWANTED STEPCHILDREN, foodwise. Yes, the place is cutesy, staff friendly and helpful. But the food is WAY overpriced. VEGETARIANS BEWARE: We ordered two sandwiches with cheese and some lettuce filling. We don't eat meat so you get charged the same for a sandwich with less filling - they WON'T subsitute a bit extra cheese for the meat and they only give ONE THIN SLICE of cheese in the sandwich so we ended up with bread and lettuce and a bare amount of cheese. I got a side of homefries (cold, tough indedible had to throw them away and I HATE wasting food. You have to really go some to get me to throw away food) and the grand total without beverages was 24.00 USD for this! For a few dollars I could have made overstuffed sandwiches on basically the same quality bread and brought a picnic to the riverside for free. So I can't even say the atmosphere justifies the cost.
I bake bread so I am suspicious the bread at this place isn't homemade. It doesn't have that hearty taste and texture that homemade bread does, so the cost doesn't even justify the supermarket bakery quality of the bread. If it is homemade, I'd be surprised.
I'm not a foodie either, so I don't always fuss, as you can see from my other reviews. It's the chintziness of the fillings and the cost that gave this place an overall bad feeling. Won't return and won't recommend it to anyone else. I don't mean offense to people who are gushing about the food but I don't know what their taste buds were perceiving. Maybe they have bad food at home so in comparison this place was amazing?

Super cute place with a lot of attention to detail. A definite gem!
The perfect niche place for lunch. My wife and I absolutely loved the food and were so happy we found them while driving. It was so good that we literally went back 45 minutes later to try their pastries and coffee. You will not regret going there.
