My wife and I did a weekend here and it was absolutely perfect. One of the top 3 meals I've ever had in my life. The cottages were cozy and comfortable and staff everywhere were great. Hope to come again.
Arrived for a Sunday Ala carte dinner on the deck 20 minutes early and got our name on the list. Initial seating was a tad chaotic, but your patience will be rewarded with an excellent meal. Was surprisingly one of the cheaper meals we had In Maine as well, very happy we decided to try to get a table.
Aragosta’s location on Deer Isle is world-class, and the food was better than expected — thoughtful and ambitious, if a little inconsistent across courses. The sommelier and junior staff brought real energy and warmth to the evening, which we appreciated. Our main server, however, felt a little joyless and jaded — perhaps understandable at the end of a long summer and with us being a slightly late and lively table — but it did take the shine off what should have been a...
