Mussel special was amazing and so was the crab roll. Great location. Friendly staff. Would definitely go again.

Hands down the best lobster roll we've had in Maine! Wish I hadn't wasted my time with other places and brought a cooler to pack up a dozen to take with me. Worth the drive!

What a fun evening we had! Located next to the Deer Isle Bridge, we ordered our food at the shack and it was brought piping hot to our picnic table overlooking the bridge Eggemoggin Reach. We had boiled lobster, cooked perfectly, a tasty lobster roll, and good old French fries. I also tried the Apple honey soda. Highly recommend that all natural, sweet treat! My husband enjoyed his locally made root beer too.

By far the best lobster BLT I have ever had in the state of Maine!!! The whole experience was simplicity and perfection. Off the beaten path away from the craziness. I would drive another 3 hours again. The portion of the meal was just right leaving me wanting to order another one. Bravo ??

No frills lobster shack along the river. The setup is not apparent - grab a menu from a rack outside of the first small building and go inside to place your order and pay. The food is prepared in a separate shock that looks like you would order there, but don’t try to wait for service there. You are provided with a beeper to alert you when your meals are ready. The lobster BLT is fabulous and was featured in September. best of Maine Downeast magazine. The Ahi tuna is also delicious and highly recommended. There is plenty of free parking and picnic tables set up along the water.

The lobster was delicious, but definitely more expensive than places on Deer Isle. Would be helpful if the restaurant showed the market prices beside cash register. The price of the 3 lb steamed lobster went up by $10 from the time my husband and I saw the price outside to when we ordered 10 minutes later. The increase left a bad impression.

Great scenery at the end of the LDI bridge to enjoy while eating a fabulous meal prepared by energetic and welcoming people. Enjoyed lobster, yellow mussels, chowder and Gifford’s ice cream. Picnic tables were clean. You can get here by land or sea as they have a fairly long dock. Highly recommend!

Kid-friendliness: Outside seating at picnic tables. Area for kids to run around, toys, swing.

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat from parking to picnic tables which are in grass.

Best seafood we had in our road trip through Maine! The employees were enthusiastic, unpretentious and friendly, our lobster and mussels were perfectly cooked and delicious, the clam chowder is amazing, and it was a fantastic view of the water while you eat.
