Old inn charm but it seemed lack of enough workers to keep up the place. You don't see any stuff around except when you are showed your room by the inn keeper. The whole atmosphere is stuffy and grim. The door was locked even at 2:50 for 3:00 checked in. It made guests felt uneasy waiting outside. The water serving station is dusty and unattractive. I hate to be picky but I have to say that the towels in the bathroom are so worn out and dirty looking.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Pilgrim's Inn from start to finish! We enjoyed a stunning wedding that was carried out perfectly. The property is beautiful, the rooms have everything you could need and lots of charm, and the staff was so helpful, hardworking and kind. Our kids had the best time playing on the little swing set and exploring other little nooks on site. We also loved being able to walk downtown. Not to mention, every meal we had was amazing!! We feel very spoiled and relaxed after our stay. We highly recommend Pilgrims Inn!

I can’t recommend the cottage enough! It’s so spacious and has so many amenities! Thank you Lindsay. I can’t wait to come back!

We had a short but excellent stay at Pilgrim’s Inn on Deer Isle! The history and charm of the Inn make for a unique stay and as old home owners ourselves we loved it. We didn’t get a chance to try the full restaurant on this visit but did enjoy a drink in the tavern in the evening and had a wonderful breakfast before our departure. Lyndsay was an excellent host and I’d highly recommend a stay at the Pilgrim’s Inn if you find yourself exploring the beautiful Maine coast.

A bit expensive, but delicious! We ate in the pub. The truffle fries were the best I've ever had. Crispy perfection.
Pilgrim Inn was featured in country living magazine over 35 years ago. Never been able to go until 2004
We were not disappointed. Our hosts who greeted us and served us were very hospitable and kind. Location was just great- rooms were clean and breakfasts were delicious. The ambiance of staying in a 200 year old Inn was just wonderful. The floors with the slanting and wonderful patina was a dream. Our only suggestion is that the rooms and common spaces be furnished with more period style furniture and decor that is in keeping with the 18th century- other than that- it’s perfect and did not disappoint

Lindsay made our stay at Pilgrim's Inn a fantastic time. She was always quick to respond and answer any questions we had. The Inn is quintessential New England charm, located in a convenient location with beautiful water views. Breakfast in the morning was always delicious and our room was clean and well cared for by staff. We would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone coming to Deer Isle.

Stunning view from the patio.
We chose to split appetizers, Oysters, Mussils, Chopped Salad, Buffalo Motz Pizza. All lovely. Our server, Hobei was extremely attentive, on point and knowledgeable.
A must if in the area.... hands down.
Beautiful building and grounds. Attentive staff, clean room. Attention to details. On-site dinner and breakfast meals; food great. Only comment is that the building is old, with narrow treads and steep risers.
Not for persons with mobility issues. Otherwise, great!

Could be one of the best all inclusive inns we have enjoyed over our 50 years of traveling. Perfect location - off the beaten path on the coast of Maine; great rooms; exquisite and hearty breakfasts; and friendly and professional staff. We stayed here 40 years ago, and it just gets better with age. We will have to return so we can sample the evening dining option. When we were here, the restaurant opened the day after we left.

I was only at Pilgrims Inn one night, but how i wish i could stay longer! I was doing a solo road trip alone from Miami, i the owner Lindsay made me feel so welcome and right at home! The room was super cozy, views were beautiful and relaxing, breakfast was absolutely yummy! Can not say enough good things, will definitely be back!

My scallop dish was beyond disappointing. Paying $36.00 for four scallops is beyond belief. There was latterly nothing else of substance on the plate. I'm sorry that what formerly was a wonderful place to have dinner has sunk so low.
