Excellent atmosphere and fresh food. Also open later than it seems anything else in the area.

Very expensive and food was mediocre at best. My husband’s lobster in his lobster roll was bad.

Every time I've gone it's been bad service. Expect to be sitting for 30 minutes before being served. Half the table got their food 40 minutes before the other half. Had to ask several times for a condiment before it was finally brought to me. Food is fine. Also no high chairs. Go to Happy Crab instead, or literally anywhere else.Kid-friendliness: No high chairs and I believe no kids menu.

Microwaved spinach artichoke dip and stale chips from what I can only guess were from 1935. The audacity to sell something that bad is unfathomable but the water was fine.

My wife and I ordered Chicken Alfredo pizza and the scalloped dinner. Her pizza was good mine was very poor, 6 small scallops a baked potato- that was several days old and slaw that was rancid. I told the waitress but she didn’t seem to care. With 2 drinks was 79.00 . I was still hungry, went to the Happy crab- order myself fried fish and fries with slaw for 12.00 -excellent meal. Don’t wast your time and money. Go to the HappyCrab !

Legitimately the worst service I have ever experienced - didnt even get our food while the other half of the table did. Hire more workers.

Food was great! Service was fine, waitress was friendly but seemed to have a lot of tables to attend to. We were in an unfinished sunroom off the main bar area, can't wait to see when its finished!

This is a friendly neighborhood grill with amazing food. I would have to say the best fish tacos I've ever had. I don't know what kind of sauce was on them, but yummm! Delicious burger and onion rings as well. Great customer service! So happy we stumbled upon this place as we were sightseeing.

On that fateful night at the Old Sow Grill in Eastport, Maine, time seemed to lose all meaning. We had already endured a lengthy wait outside on the chilly patio, and our hunger grew with each passing minute. To our dismay, the girl who had taken on the role of serving tables approached us, her voice laced with an apologetic tone."I'm really sorry for the delay," she said, exhaustion etched on her face. "Your food will be ready in twenty minutes, I promise."Her words hung in the air, filled with a glimmer of hope. We decided to trust her and patiently waited, hoping that the end was in sight. But little did we know that the devil himself had taken hold of the kitchen that night.Minutes turned into hours, and our stomachs growled in protest. The atmosphere of the town had a strange, Twilight Zone feel to it, as if time had been warped and distorted. The wait staff hurried back and forth, their expressions a mix of frustration and helplessness. It seemed as though they were battling against an invisible force determined to prolong our agony.Conversations at our table dwindled to a mere whisper, punctuated by frustrated sighs and glances towards the kitchen. The girl who had been serving tables offered us sympathetic smiles whenever she passed by, her eyes filled with regret. She too was caught in the grip of this culinary purgatory, a victim of circumstances beyond her control. As the hours ticked by, our initial understanding turned to disbelief and frustration. The devilish wait for our food had tested the limits of our patience and our friendship. The restaurant's understaffed state and the unforeseen challenges had transformed a simple meal into an arduous ordeal.Yet, in the midst of our discontent, a shared understanding grew among us. The absurdity of the situation bonded us together, as we exchanged knowing glances and shared wry smiles. We found solace in the collective experience, finding humor in the chaos that unfolded around us.Finally, after what felt like an eternity, our food arrived. The plates were placed before us, a belated feast that had lost some of its luster. The girl who had served us throughout the night looked weary but relieved. She apologized once again, her sincerity evident. As we savored each bite, a mix of hunger and relief washed over us. The flavors mingled with our shared exasperation, creating a bittersweet memory that would forever be etched in our minds. The devil's grip had been broken, and we emerged stronger, united by the trials we had endured. In the end, the Old Sow Grill became more than just a restaurant--it became a symbol of resilience and friendship. We learned the value of patience and understanding, even in the face of prolonged hunger and frustration. And as we left the establishment that night, we carried with us not only the taste of our delayed meal but also a bond that had been forged through the fiery trials of the devil's kitchen.

This was a wonderful restaurant. The ambiance was lovely and the food and margaritas were great!! Our waitress Kristen was so kind and never acted frustrated even tho she was the only one waiting on quite a few people! It was a great experience and I would love to go back!
