Had a hot dog and fries at Rosie’s Hot Dogs. This best is review you give in any place: I’ll be back for more and will do a detailed review that time. The little I had was top notch tho.

First time. Fries crisp, hot and not greasy. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Batter not thick and heavy, just right, and also not greasy.

What’s there not to like about a hotdog from a sweet staff… they knew everyone before and after me by name! Had I not been passing through and returned they probably would have called me by name too. Ask about their history… 4 generations!

There were tables outside and a lovely view. The building across the street had restrooms. It cost $48 for the 6 of us to have 6 hot dogs and 3 sides and 4 drinks.
We enjoyed the hot dogs and fries very much. The prices are comparable to other take out stands we have had throughout maine. The only thing I didn't care for was the onions were cooked. I personally prefer mine raw on a hot dog.

Was hoping to get a fish and fries meal.. got to the window to order and they were out of fish, chili and cheese. Since I ended up getting a hot dog and ?. The hot dog was definitely not worth the 3.50 price but the fries were ok.

They’ve been operating over 50 years. Homemade chili for the hot dogs. We had to stop and eat on National Hot Dog day. My chili dog was delicious!
The hot dogs served are small by any comparison. And they ask you if you want ketchup or relish, but what they put on, you'll need a microscope to find... We found a hot dog booth downtown 50 cents cheaper with a larger portion...

50 years of hot dogs!! They figured out the formula!! Bring you cholesterol pill to this meal and enjoy!! Good chili on dog as well as onions, relish, cheese!!
My husband and I visited Acadia and then we tried something new for us--the bold coast. First time in Eastport and we were directed to the town hall for a map of the area and the all important public restrooms. After taking our photo with the Uncle Sam statue we followed our noses to the doggie stand. We live in PA halfway between Philadelphia and NYC both places known for good dogs and Rosies didn't disappoint. You could get your dog with everything--mustard, ketchup, relish, sauerkraut just like in the cities. The big difference was the view. Rosies is located on the harbor with a great view of working boats and Canada. Can't beat that! Other options are fries, chili, onion rings and more! Picnic tables are provided. What more can you ask for?
