This is a walk up ice cream shop. You can get both soft serve and hand dip ice cream. I had the butter, pecan and caramel sea salt truffle. Both were excellent. We also tried the. Black raspberry, and blueberry ice cream. which were also really good. The hand dipped ice cream has a nice creamy texture and is not grainy. The teenagers working in the area were cutting up and ended up throwing a pen out the window at me by mistake and we were very apologetic but otherwise service was pretty quick even with quite a crowd building up.

Order the small, haha. We made the mistake of ordering a medium, which is basically an extra large everywhere else. Sooo much ice-cream, but it's soooo good. We go here once a week with my kid, and it's always a great treat. Great prices, and holy do you get a ton of ice cream for the price.

They have good ice cream but they only take cash, which is annoying. Also, their sign blocks your view of oncoming traffic when you leave!

This was our favorite spot in Ellsworth for years ! This season both times we’ve went a young man has told us they didn’t have cones and had to get a dish only to underfill the dish YES blueberry hill. Then SERVES CONES to the high school kids behind us. First time a fluke but second time no thank you ! Season just started and already turned off.

I came here couple years ago when I was visiting from out of state. I ordered 3 regular scoops of ice cream and after more than 10 minutes, these clowns were physically unable to scoop out the ice cream. Maybe they need to be trained better in scooping ice cream? Maybe they were struggling to get the right scooping technique?
There were like 5 people who had ordered after me getting their stuff first. I asked the blonde "girl" making the drinks/ice cream about my order and she was utterly clueless (like talking to a brick wall). I wonder if she graduated high school? Probably not. She seemed a little slow if you know what I mean.
After like 15 minutes, I just canceled my order and got a refund (I'm surprised they were able to count the change correctly! Good job at doing something correctly!) I didn’t think it would be so difficult to put 3 scoops of ice cream into a cup, but for Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar it really is a massive task for them. Go Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar! Delicious ice cream on a rainy day! Decent amount of flavors and pricing was not too bad for a small ice cream place! Also, one of the only places open on Indigenous People's day!

Service was slow. The photos advertised that the ice cream would be over the cup line and mine was only 4/5 full for a “blizzard” and for $9 too? Disappointed.
