This was our favorite spot in Ellsworth for years ! This season both times we’ve went a young man has told us they didn’t have cones and had to get a dish only to underfill the dish YES blueberry hill. Then SERVES CONES to the high school kids behind us. First time a fluke but second time no thank you ! Season just started and already turned off.

I came here couple years ago when I was visiting from out of state. I ordered 3 regular scoops of ice cream and after more than 10 minutes, these clowns were physically unable to scoop out the ice cream. Maybe they need to be trained better in scooping ice cream? Maybe they were struggling to get the right scooping technique?
There were like 5 people who had ordered after me getting their stuff first. I asked the blonde "girl" making the drinks/ice cream about my order and she was utterly clueless (like talking to a brick wall). I wonder if she graduated high school? Probably not. She seemed a little slow if you know what I mean.
After like 15 minutes, I just canceled my order and got a refund (I'm surprised they were able to count the change correctly! Good job at doing something correctly!) I didn’t think it would be so difficult to put 3 scoops of ice cream into a cup, but for Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar it really is a massive task for them. Go Blueberry Hill Dairy Bar! Service was slow. The photos advertised that the ice cream would be over the cup line and mine was only 4/5 full for a “blizzard” and for $9 too? Disappointed.

I asked for a single scoop and I got so much ice cream. It was really good but my cone was so full. You can also get ice cream in a cup and all of their flavors are really good. The staff was nice and they do take credit cards. I would come here every night if I could.

Amazing Maine blueberry ice cream! Only minor issue was they need better spoons…should not bend in half when you try to eat your ice cream.

I came to Maine first time 1988 as a young aircraft member and eventually discovered this wonderful place. Since then, whenever in Bar Harbor or Bangor, I drive to Buleberry Hill to enjoy this absolutely world class Soft Serve Ice Cream. Go for the large, it's just a wonderful treat, you will find nowhere else. I hope to have the chance to come back and enjoy many times more. My very best wishes to the entire crew and many thanks for decades of wonderful Ice Cream

Cash only place. It was good but ice cream was not my personal favorite but it had fun flavors and they do have dog cups! Helens is definitely better in my opinion but if you dont really care that much this place is fine. Staff was pretty nice.
