Absolutely Delicious!
My husband and I tried the Four Happiness and Crab Rangoon at China Hill, and we were both really impressed. The portion sizes were perfect for two people — generous but not overwhelming. The food was fresh, flavorful, and far better than what we’ve had at other Chinese restaurants. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving truly delicious Chinese food in Ellsworth!

I ordered the shrimp chow mein for takeout and it was literally soup. The chow mein was slimy and insanely unappetizing. Did not eat any more of it.

We did take out, the fired rice with pork, shrimp lo mein and egg rolls were ok, not great but ok.
The pu pu platter meat was awful, chicken very chewy and over cooked, the cribs were over cooked, no crab Rangoon and something that looked like crab Rangoon but black on the inside and burnt on the outside. Awful meal that I paid $72.00 for and will never go back.

Food is decent for price. It's a classic Chinese restaurant feel. Would probably go again.

Despite what other reviewers have reported, we found China Hill in Ellsworth, Maine to be a delight. We were seated promptly and the staff were courteous and friendly. The food was delicious and well prepared so were were very pleased with the overall experience and will definitely be returning.

It is what it is, an American styled Chinese food.

Went there for first time being skeptical after reading the reviews. Well food was excellent and you get a decent amount of food and not costly. Yes it smelled like bleach but only in the entry way. It was very clean restaurant. Only thing not recommended is chicken wings. We had pups for one and I got a combo meal. Everything else was delicious

We were all pleased with our food. It was fresh, served hot and delicious! We all loved the Chicken Toast. Friendly service, nice environment and so clean I complimented them on it. We'll be back!

We were actually looking for a buffet, which they don’t do. The food didn’t taste fresh and the spring rolls tasted like they’d been cooked in old oil
Always love the food, and the people who work there make it a lovely establishment to dine at.

Tuck you in a corner of a place that reaks of bleach. Food has been cooked and chilled to be reheated. Tough, old, dry expensive crap is what my husband and I received. Server never checked in on our table then handed a check and walked away not clearing and dishes.
