Waited 40 minutes after we ordered until the manager personally look at my slip and after another 10 minutes we got our order and 75% wasn't even our order. There was also a fight halfway through our first wait between the manager and a customer
My VERY LARGE ORDER was messed up.
Didn't realize it until I was home,ready to feed a large family.
NO LARGE SIDE,SMASHED BISCUITS .

I ordered the 4 piece xtra crispy. Usually my favorite but I was very disappointed at this location. The oil needs to be changed and the chicken was extremely overcooked. Usually the best part is the crispy skin but it had a burnt taste.
K1, all thighs, original recipe is what I always order, with Cole slaw, been a long time since I've been to KFC. The price of this meal has nearly doubled, was $5 for a long time, now it's $9+, but compared to other fastfood chains, right in line price wise, everything has increased in price.

Seeing that this KFC is currently standing at a respectable 2.7/5, I’m sure my negative review doesn’t matter anyhow, but I figured I’d share just because this is legitimately a matter to your health. I went to this KFC last night (March 13, 2025) around 7PM and ordered my usual: 2 chicken littles combo and a beef chalupa supreme. Upon opening the bag, I realized they forgot my mashed potatoes and gravy, no big deal, it happens. I ate my chalupa and moved on to my chicken littles. I ate about half of the first one when I turned it over and noticed there was mold on the bun. I ate mold. I would usually feel bad about posting a negative review but hey, DON’T FEED YOUR CUSTOMERS MOLD??? Attached is a photo of my receipt and the sandwich accompanied by its delicious spot of greyish-greenish mold. I went in today after work to see if I could get a refund, the least they could do in my opinion. I was very respectful and made sure to speak quietly to the manager as not to alert the customers about their apparent mold problem. I explained the situation and asked for a refund, all the manager said was, “we don’t do refunds.” He had absolutely no urgency to fix the issue, that was apparent. Are you serious? I actually worked at this very KFC/Taco Bell on and off for a couple years, we did give refunds when I worked there, what changed? I feel like getting MOLD on your food should at least be an exception for getting a refund. I didn’t even get that much food, everything I mentioned, plus a crunchwrap, totaling $23. The manager offered to remake it for me, so nonchalantly, like this sort of thing happens all the time. I said no, obviously, because you fed me mold, so why would I ever eat here again? It was a real bummer, too. I used to love this place. Oh well. I’ll never be eating at this location again 🤷♀️

To be fair...I truely believe all of americas fast food restaurants etc are in crisis mode.
I had a take out order and when I got the food home I realized that I didn't have the full order! The tenders were awful and I would highly recommend buying your chicken tenders at tide way market in hancock, you won't be disappointed and I will never go back to KFC!!!

Went in and ordered a to go $40 family meal. The guy at counter took order and was very nice. When I got home the meal was missing the 4 biscuits and all of the side sauces. Very disappointed as he made it a point to tell me he was going to make sure I had the sources.
Food is very much raw I’ve been there before and it was the same issue , I ordered from DoorDash and this is what I received uncooked chicken, this is a health hazard!!! People could be poisoned due to this

Worst service in the state of Maine. Never will go there again. Ellsworth Maine should do a huge favor and close down. My lady 3 times there have been a waste of time. NEVER AGAIN!!!! All I wanted was one coleslaw. Place wasn’t busy. Was told a 15 minute wait for 1 coleslaw. Not worth my time !!!!

They never have any chicken. Doesn't matter what time of day you visit, they are always out of all bone in chicken.
Terrible food, but even worse service. Had to repeat order 3 times, not one item was correct, charged for things I didn’t order and had to wait forever to get refunded.
