A few weeks ago we had packed up and were heading home from Acadia National Park. Wife decided she was hungry and so we were looking for a place to stop and eat on the way. She had her heart set on a donut shop but as usual one could not be found when you wanted one.
So we saw the sign to Martha's and though it was not a donut place it did serve breakfast and we're glad we stopped.
The place was packed - very busy.

Definitely my favorite breakfast spot in town, Make sure you bring cash they won't take cards, there is an ATM adjacent outside at the bank. Everyone's very friendly that works there. I'm always a bit spendy there, when I go I get a rather large breakfast so it's to be understood why it's more expensive for me. But going in there for a regular meal can put you in the $20 or less category and no problem. They're always ready to go and are extremely...

We stopped in for breakfast today and it was amazing! Everything was homemade, even the bread. The ham is cooked in-house. Pure maple syrup for the delicious pancakes and waffles. The potatoes were some of the best I’ve had- hand cut and skillet fried. Service was a bit slow and seemingly short-handed, but wonderful food.
