Three of us had lunch here today. We got - chicken and cheese sub, French onion soup, and the blue cheese bacon burger. All three of us left full and happy.

Visited recently with coworkers and the place was quite busy. I used to visit when it was called Madden's a few years back and I'm pretty sure they just changed the name and literally kept everything else the same. Maybe they repainted... I watch a lot of Bar Rescue and understand that every bar should have a cocktail menu. Because they don't have one, the 3 people I was with got gin and tonics. Since I prefer not to think of cocktails on the fly, I had a Maine Beer Co Lunch. The drinks came and another Bar Rescue rule was violated: don't serve mixed drinks in large glasses because the ratio of liquor to mixer will be off and you end up with a watered down drink and unable to taste the alcohol. The beer was okay but also $9. I'm not convinced the draft lines were cleaned in recent history. For food we all ordered the $3 tacos and I also got wings. The wings could have been a lot crispier, they were pretty chewy. The tacos were tasty and the best thing I had all night. I had an Apres hard seltzer for my next drink because I appreciate knowing what I'm getting. The crowd was all over 50 and sports were on every TV. The locals clearly enjoy it but I'll pass if I'm invited here again.

This is our local sports bar/pub. Consistently good food, well prepared and reasonably priced. Service can be a bit slow but they are dealing with staffing problems like everyone else. The food comes out quickly. The burgers here are excellent and the haddock sandwiches are great. I had the haddock Reuben and it was a nice big piece of fresh haddock fried to perfection with slaw and dressing, lettuce and tomato. The fries are quite good. The boneless chicken tenders are fantastic. We get them every time. They make them fresh with brined chicken. So good! Just a great local spot to grab a drink and some good pub food and catch a game.

The Moose is absolutely amazing. I drive all the way from Massachusetts just to get their incredible food. It is worth the drive every time. The Moose has the best Mac n cheese I've ever tried. Their service is also incredible with kind servers and quick waits for the your meal.

I like the place and have tried it multiple times. As a gay guy who loves to watch sports I feel instantly judged when I walk in. The crowd seems to be a bunch of locals who like to be with those who are the same as them.

Order the chicken nachos and got food poisoning, woke up at 3 in the morning to violent vomiting and non-stop stomach cramps. Waitress also reeked of weed

Great food and lots of TVs to watch the games. Drinks are well made and it's got a lively atmosphere. I've had several different meals here and they're all good so I can't recommend a single dish, just order what looks tasty. It seems like they're very understaffed. Our last couple visits service has been very slow and I only saw one very over worked waitress running around plus the bartender. Be prepared to wait when you go in and we can only hope they get more help soon!! First bathroom smells like a dumpster all the time so try going to the second bathroom at the end of the hall it's much better but a bit chillier in the winter.

All I was going to say was "Unreal..." but then I found out I needed 85 characters... so now you get to know I got the chicken and cheese (kinda like a steak n cheese but not), and I've been having wet dreams about it ever since

** UPDATE ** I went in Friday night with a friend. We sat at a table that hadn't been cleared yet. Beside us was a booth with parents and a couple children. The server stopped over to bring the booth menus and a drink order. She grabbed the dirty plates from our table and said she'd be back. She returned to bring them their drinks, take their order and collect the menus. She scurried off without so much as turning around to even drop menus off at our table, wipe it down or take our drink order. We waited patiently for her to return assuming she was busy. When she returned to the booth with food having ignored us for at least 15minutes we just got up and left. That goes BEYOND poor customer service. I had my police hat on, was that the reason? I didn't want to make a scene so we left with several people staring at us. Your response to my last review was to ask to speak to a manager or owner. How is that possible when the server doesn't even speak to us???? I wasn't as busy as other Friday nights we have been in so I have to wonder why we were acknowledged, only to be ignored. *******My friend ordered the steak tip salad and I ordered the JV burger. Her salad had very little steak on it. We used to come here all of the time for the salad with ribeye but then they changed to shaved steak...on a salad. They have NEVER gotten my drink order right and even charged me for what was left in the martini shaker after I told them I didn't want another drink. IT WASN'T EVEN A FULL GLASS. This week I thought a burger would be simple. The JV BURGER is a single patty with cheese, lettuce, tomato and onion on a bun. When our food FINALLY arrived I was given a burger on a bun with a slice of cheese...that was it. I asked for the veggies and the server said they should be on it. You could clearly see they were missing. She was going to take my burger back. After waiting so long for some food I asked that she just bring the veggies on a separate plate. By the time my plate of shredded romaine and a tomato slice arrived (no onion) I was basically full of fries and my friends salad was almost gone. Luckily I stole some onions from her plate. We used to LOVE the Moose Pub but the service and food have gone downhill. We were stuck there over an hour for a salad and burger. Definitely not a place to stop for a quick bite. Oh how I miss the days of the quick service and amazing ribeye.

Tried calling and ordering takeout around 6:30pm on Friday night and no one answered. We get to the restaurant and find that they don’t even do takeout. Why advertise it on the website if y’all don’t do it. Waste of time.

We stopped by at 8PM on October 13th hoping to order a few burgers to-go. We'd called ahead to the take-out line but no one answered. I walked in and asked two hostesses if I could order some burgers for takeout explaining that we couldn't reach anyone at the takeout number. She promptly said "we aren't doing takeout right now".If you're going to put a big sign on the front of your restaurant with a phone number for takeout, please at least answer it or list hours when takeout is available. Two stars for what would have been a good meal.
