Surprisingly good, made to order, fresh ingredients, fantastic pizza and calzone. We have traveled and had pizza across the USA and in Europe. The pizza at Basil's is top notch
Delicious pizza with generous, good quality toppings!! Fresh thick bacon and lots of basil, YUM!! Delicious homemade whoopie pies too. They even have gift certificates for those in need. A very kind pizza shop. Can’t wait to come back!
I have been to Basils numerous times and have had the white pizza, a few Stromboli's which were very good but my favorite is the steak & cheese. Being a native of Philadelphia I have had some the best cheese steaks (Pats, Geno's, Tony Luke's. Dalessandro's etc...) and although Basils is not on their level, by Maine standards it is pretty good.
