My friends call me a pizza snob, but I just enjoy good pizza and like any food there is a lot of low quality not worth the price even on discount. With that said, this is one of only two pizza places I will go to within 30 miles. It's been a long time since I ordered a plain cheese pizza, but this place is worth it! That's the true test of a good pizza place. The bread is thick, light and fluffy like fresh home baked bread while not completely fopping and a perfect light...
It would have been a lot more enjoyable if they weren't loudly throwing pizza pans and/or other things behind the counter. If I could post a video of how obnoxious this was I would.
Time warp! After being away from my beloved Maine for 13 years I found myself downtown and met some dear friends here. My kids and I spent many happy years in this iconic little shop, eating dinner before a concert or show in middle and high school...the memories brought tears to my eyes. Still good pizza and great staff!!
