I used to love Ben & Jerry's scoop shops, but $9.50 for a child sized cone is insane!!! Go elsewhere! The quality went down as well. Not worth the outrageous price tag
Too expensive for tiny cups of ice cream! I'm never going back.
This Ben & Jerry’s just moved to a new store, so they gave their customers a free scoop of ice cream on their opening day. A very generous and sweet store.
So they advertised free cone day is today and their shop in Freeport is temporarily closed because they are moving into a new location. Not too excited that we came out in the rain for nothing.
Good ice cream with lots of flavors, a little pricey.

Good ice cream, nice employees, insane and insulting prices. Almost $8 for a small cup with no cone or toppings. Unaffordable for most Maine families. Avoid this tourist trap and get a pint at Hannaford.
There are so many great family-owned ice cream stands and cafes with homemade ice cream or famous Maine-made ice cream in my neck of the Maine woods (and seashore) that a chain normally pales in comparison, but Ben & Jerry's is good anywhere. I got their Coffee, Coffee BuzzBuzzBuzz (creative name) and added chocolate sprinkles to it because Ben & Jerry's has the best chocolate sprinkles ever.
