Bizarre and unwelcoming owner interaction. Would not shop here again.
A true treat! The molasses cookies and bread are wonderful! A most unique store! A must visit if you are in the area!
It doesn't get better than this. The Real Deal. Great food, great company, great location. Like Maine in the old days.
The very definition of a hidden gem. Just down the road from Wolfe's neck, you must stop for some fresh baked bread or cookies or yarn or trinkets or...
A delight off the beaten path in Freeport. Worth finding. Pleasant owners, welcoming. They make oatmeal bread that truly is heavenly!
This little market is a perfect place for homemade soups, baked goods, gifts and more. Always greeted with big smiles and warm howdy do. It's such a joy to walk in and see a group of ladies sitting around the wood stove knitting and having loads of fun. I love these ladies! Highly recommended.

Beautiful Maine made products, delightful ladies, lovely surroundings
Discovered a hidden treasure this afternoon... Bessie's Farm Goods Though it may look like something from The Beverly Hillbillies, this is the genuine article! The inside is like a 19th Century general store, full of exquisite goodies and crafts!! And everyone we met there were friendly and engaging. Purchased a loaf of scrummy oatmeal bread, cookies, blueberry crumb cake, and a 25-ring solid wood bowl, felted oven mitt (made by one of the owners), and a terrific pottery mug with cubism design and dancing skeletons. All Maine-made.
Wonderful, friendly, unique... Gifts, food, and great conversation!!

Quality Maine and USA made goods. What a great little spot in the woods with two wonderful and knowledgeable women who have a passion for their farms, crafts and families. The best unique hand spun fibers from local Island Wool to crazy Camel and local angora rabbit wool!! I absolutely love this place and the people that gather
Great baked goods, lovely and fun gifts and local craftsmanship. Unique and homey
Outstanding baked goods and delicious coffee. Excellent value and very friendly.
We just accidentally found this place and fell in love with it! The hand spun yarns, pottery, jewelry, fabric crafts and other hand made things from local artists are beautiful! The brownies were delicious! I will definitely show up there the weekend after Thanksgiving for their Christmas sale!
