Moose and Lisa made us feel welcome, and cooked and served us some fantastic food! They had a limited menu, since they were going to be closed for July 4th, but we had a delicious steak and cheese sandwich with some of the best fries I've ever had, juicy chicken tenders, and Moose even made us a great side salad (which wasn't even on the menu!). The sauce selections were outstanding (try the blueberry BBQ sauce on your chicken tenders)! Gotta go back for some brisket....
We went to Buck's after a weekend of camping in Acadia - food was incredible, perfectly seasoned burnt ends - got the Q for the fam plate and was amazed by the portions. The coleslaw, potato salad, beans and cornbread were all delicious. Staff was super friendly. You can tell Buck's cares about quality - would highly recommend.
I’ve been all over the US and had BBQ in many places known for it. Best BBQ I’ve ever had - right here in Maine. Who would thunk?
