I cannot tell you how many times we have driven by the Freeport Cafe when I have wondered how the place was? Today, we finally stopped and the answer is AWESOME. Nice atmosphere, amazing friendly service and a very good breakfast. We both had 3 egg scrambles with the the scratch made blueberry muffins. So good. We will return.
Stopped here to grab some breakfast before we drove up to Acadia. Service was quick and friendly. Very straightforward menu with delicious options for breakfast and lunch. BEST breakfast in Freeport in my opinion! Get the homefries they will change your life! and YES, get your biscuit grilled!!! Everything was so good we opted to come back a second time the next day instead of trying somewhere new!

We stayed at the Best Western Hotel overnight and arrived around 9am on a Friday morning for breakfast. There was about 5 families queued ahead of us. The staff worked like a well oiled machine to seat the hungry customers. Portions were massive and well worth the 10-15$ per plate. I ordered the Freeport breakfast this was on the smaller side and I still struggled to eat everything). Pumpkin spice coffee was amazing, and the sourdough toast was top notch. The staff were friendly and very welcoming. This establishment deserves more than 5 stars. Excellent breakfast. Can’t wait to come back ?
Vegetarian options: Waffles, French toast, pancakes, yogurt and fruit, oatmeal. Lots of options.
