Visited on a Saturday. It took quite a while before we were greeted by staff. We ordered the old bay popcorn, a dozen oysters, clam chowder and a couple cocktails. Popcorn was not my favorite, seasoning was not well distributed. Some bites were overly seasoned and salty and some plain. Chowder was delish. Oysters were good although we recieved only one type of Oyster, not sure if that is the only type they had or what since our server was not very communicative. I did notice the oysters were not released from the shell and there were lots of shell fragments throughout, which was bothersome especially coming from a place called an Oyster bar. The staff did seem busy with bar patrons but there didn't appear to be a lot of people dining. There was a chocolate festival going on and a fudge cart set up in the dining room, which may have been the reason for the less than ideal service, but regardless I would expect better service and more staff on a Saturday at lunch, ESPECIALLY considering there was an event happening in town that day.

Everything was absolutely delicious. The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable, the crisp glass of white wine as well as the limeade were refreshing. The oysters were incredible, the clam chowder was creamy, filled with clams & potatoes and the homemade sourdough bread was the perfect addition. We will definitely be back.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS FOOD!!! Let me just say their lobster roll is THE best lobster roll I have ever eaten in my life. They know how to perfectly build a fantastic lobster roll!! And don’t get me started on raving about their delicious oysters on a half shell. YUMM. Staff are amazing. We loved the atmosphere here. Definitely returning again. Highly recommend!

Have others have said, a limited menu but the food is good.
Prices seem aligned to other places serving seafood. We all thought the oysters and chowder were good. Shares the parking lot with LL Bean stores.

Great location if your outlet mall or all beam shopping. These are two separate menu items. Not inexpensive. Others gave great reviews so we went.

We were in Freeport to visit the Mothership LL Beane We ducked into Freeport Oyster Bar to escape the rain. The mixologist is creative and knows her stuff. The oysters were good, but the real reason to go is have a unique tasty beverage.

Came in by myself, sat at the bar. Got the kale salad, strawberry kelp daiquiri, and the classic grilled cheese with pickled red onions. Super good. Quick service— great music

Had a shellfish poker: clam chowder, mussel toast, scallop crudo and oysters. Everything was creative, well balanced, flavorful and very fresh. They had outside seating available, but they were kind to let us come in with our old small dog. They have a good kids menu available. The service was fast and warm at all times, even when they got busy.
