Not impressed.. my wife and I dropped in here while vacationing in New England.. while at the LL BEAN factory we were told about this place and how "great" their lobster roll was..
.. service was fast & friendly.. however the lobster roll was bland without any flavor, the onion rings greasy, and soggy, and my wife's sandwich was pretty lame on flavor as well.. worse yet? the lunch bill was $62 ..
Save your money.. there has to be a better lobster roll in Freeport..

Wow! Locally recommended and it did not disappoint. Everything was excellent! The lobster ? roll on a toasted bun was amazing. Clam chowder was yummy and the fried clams were delicious. It’s definitely worth the trip. We will be back for a steamed lobster ?. Highly recommend.

Great food at reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly. The outside area for eating is not particularly pleasant. I would go back, but try inside next time. We had a lobster salad which was very good with plenty of lobster. Only downside is it came in a very small container so hard to eat. We also had a crabmeat roll which was great with plenty of crab. We had a side of clam strips which had a generous portion and were very tasty. Also a crab cake which was tasty and done perfect.

Price was good.
Fried clams best I have ever had! So fresh. I did the happy dance. Hehe. It was gorgeous day out and I loved watching the boats! Definitely recomend and return. Solon,

Great setup for lunch with fast window service and amazing food. All the fried food was fresh and the fresh seafood even better. Solid place and it's BYOB.

Don’t order the scallops! They had the consistency of rubber and the steamed clams were dry. Very disappointed!

paying 30$ for a plain lobster roll with butter and it doesnt come plain or with butter and is servered smushed upside down on a tray in a bag by the slowest rudest people ever you kind of get disappointed. Bland, overpriced small portions horrible customer service. Far better places.

Well i am sorry to say this but wow the service is terrible. I had a really bad experience today!
I made my order - pricey but known for their food… so you pay it.
And Albeit that it is a cash only business!! You pay it.

So i made an order $50 for a scallop basket aNd side of shrimp. I get my receipt with an order number and the cashier tells you your order Number. .You wait for your number to be called.

Well today they changed my order number and don’t tell me. I waited and waited - i even went up twice after they called numbers before my number and long after my number- twice the girl
Tells me my number isn’t called yet. Finally the girl says ‘oops sorry the guy pulled the wrong number because they had to reprint my receipt’!! and my order has been sitting there for a while and is now no longer hot!!! No offer of remake…. Just take your order that she pulls from being on the back rack for a while.
So so disappointed for a business that is supposed to be known for food and service!!!
