40 minute wait to sit. 30 minute wait for a lobster stew that the lobster ran through. Waitress was bartender that could have cared less to wait on us. Next table came in after about 20 minutes and had their chowder before us we were ready to leave and I guess she woke up she had a table. She threw rolls on our table blaming wait on cooks. So disappointed as we had heard great things about this restaurant. We were going to get dessert, but decided another half hour for her to grace us with her presence was shame on us.
Went for dinner and we had to wait to get a table. We asked for first available and sat outside which was quite nice. Our starters were shrimp cocktail and New England clam chowder both were very good, the shrimp were very fresh. I had the seafood medley, delicious and my wife had steak and garden salad. We both enjoyed our meals. I would recommend this restaurant, but go early because they started turning people away at 7:30 because they close at 8.
I would rate the bathroom a c.

Not going back, slow service, average food quality and long delays and no lobster meat all the time.

We just had lunch today at Jameson Tavern and I got what I usually do, fisherman’s platter. It’s always soo good, but today it was not good at all. The waitress did tell me that they had changed the crumbs formula for frying and I did notice that right away. But that wouldn’t make the clams, scallops and haddock have zero flavor at all. I feel like the food had been frozen for a while before it was cooked today. That would be a reason to lose the flavor. I had my husband try it to make sure it wasn’t just me, and he agreed.
I’m a Mainer and a former restaurant operator. I only live 20 minutes from the tavern but there are too many great places to eat out there to risk coming back and getting bad food again. Often these places cut corners in the summer for a better profit but that can back fire sometimes like it did today.
Sad, but true.

Waitress ...10/10. Everything else...2/10. Very loud and the food was below mid, as the kids say. Never again. Over $160 for bland food that really wasn't good at all.

We really wanted to try this place, but unfortunately we sat for about 15 minutes and waited for KK to wrap up her conversation, but she didn’t even acknowledge our presence. We got up and left and still no acknowledgement. They weren’t even that busy, just inattentive unfortunately.
