Good place for lobster, my wife loved it.
Our server was excellent, friendly a h he helped my wife dismantle her lobster, though I believe against policy, if so it needs to be changed

The staff was friendly and I adore them. But this is about food, I’ve tried the bisque everywhere and this was the worste. It was inedible. Served lukewarm and with a few tiny shriveled lobster legs tips. For twenty bucks do yourself a favor and get bisque that’s hot with large lobster portions down the street at Linda beans. Another downside was there was nowhere to eat indoors, and all the tables outside were sticky and not wiped down so we all left sticky from the table. Not a fun or pleasant experience.

Counter service available downstairs, with a cozy pub offering full service upstairs plus outdoor seating. The menu features Maine favorites alongside soft drinks (Coke products), four beers on tap, plenty of canned options, and wine served in mini bottles. Notable beers on tap include Allagash White and Allagash Curieux from Allagash Brewing. Conveniently located near LL Bean and outlet shops. Workers were friendly, and the food was made fresh and served hot — a great local stop worth visiting.

Still worth the 2 hour drive to eat here. My whole family loves this place. Clam chowder is very good! Service isn't always there, and that's the biggest downfall.

Amazing pub! Counter service downstairs; table service upstairs! Great lobster rolls. Haddock sandwich was amazing and can’t come to Maine without eating a red hot dog. Will definitely come again while in Freeport, ME.

Extremely disappointed, the fish was totally overcooked and dry, the lobster had absolutely no flavor. A draft pint of beer was $11… ridiculous. Then, the old guy doubled charged us for fish dinner… although he cancelled it, the charge is still pending 4 days later holding funds ($116) that I can’t spend. Never going there again!

I was there over Columbus Day weekend. I ordered fried scallops. I don't believe they were real scallops but the "scallop medallions" they barely tasted like anything and the texture was rubbery and stringy. So I actually bought some scallop medallions today at a grocery store and they were the same taste and texture. It's OK that you serve them but be honest on the menu and price accordingly. They are half price of regular scallops. I also have worked in the high end food service field for 40 years. You can't fool me!! The years that I have eaten there before, it was the real deal and delicious.

Upstairs table service was great. Husband had the Lobster Roll, and I had the fried Haddock (made with GF breading!). Both were excellent. We both drank the Freedom’s Edge Cider on tap, which is really good.

Lobster roll is delicious. Chicken sandwich also strong. We have been going here for years as we travel through Freeport and stop everytime. We really like the pretzels (not on menu) and there seafood dishes. Great patio for eating and catching up with friends or planning your next adventure. Highly recommend.

The lobster bisque is crazy good. It has a bit of heat and the creamy soup and lobster bits are so tasty. High praise for the lobster rolls and haddock.
The service staff was very friendly and helpful to the out of state visitor.

Cute unassuming restaurant. Great lobster roll - all knuckle and claw on a fresh toasted and buttered bun! The way it ought to be!
Hubby had Red Hotdogs the Maine way.
Service was helpful and on point. Highly recommend!
