I went to Mainly Custard today and was surprised to be waited on by Ben and Fallon who happened to be the owners and as usual I got fast, friendly service with outstanding frozen custard as a Sundae.

$10.25 for a large hot fudge sunday. The “fudge” was chocolate syrup and proportionally super skimpy. The bottom half of the Sunday was all custard, no chocolate syrup. The custard tastes too sweet now, used to be better. They are even skimping on flimsy plastic spoons as I broke 2 spoons trying to eat my sundae. If you are going to keep raising prices, at least put out a superior product. I like some of the fun changes to the property but give the customer value for the large charge!!!

Ive lived in Maine for a little while and this is hands down the best place for ice cream. The apple pie custard is to die for. The talking moose head definitely adds to the overall wonderful experience.
Some of the BEST custard I’ve ever had. The girls were also super sweet.

I’ve never in my 67 years had a better soft serve vanilla product. The smoothest, creamiest, best tasting frozen custard. I’ll never go back to ice cream again. Very pleasant area with plenty of parking. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
