I have been there twice. Sat outside both times with good service. The food was decent. I went there wanting a gyro in fact I was excited to get one. Both times they were out of gyro meat. I must say I went both times at lunch so it wasn’t like they just ran out. What is a Mediterranean restaurant without gyro? A restaurant that I won’t go to again.

We enjoyed our meal here. Staff was friendly and attentive and the various meals our family ordered were all quite tasty.

I would think at over 20$ per plate they could afford to turn on the heat! We ate with out jackets on in an almost empty dining room at 6:00 pm on a Saturday night . Left there and got a coffee at dunkin dounuts To warm up , will not be going back

The food is delicious, and the owners are a delight!

The prices are expensive for the portions and quality of food. It is no frills service, very basic. We ordered lamb moussaka. It had lots of vegetables and trace amount of ground lamb. It came with a side of sliced flat bread minus any condiment such as butter or a sample of hummus. I will not be returning.

I arrived on a Friday night (off season/October but town was busy) Entered restaurant and waited 5 min w/no greeting. Went to the kitchen to ask if I could be seated. Either manager or owner sat me. Ordered a Sheppard salad with Feta-dressing was good but tomatoes had turned so if I got a bite of those it was unpalatable. Had Spanakopita for entree which was different with onions and mushrooms-however it was completely flat-no flaky phyllo would give it a c to be nice to my Greek heritage but that's generous.

We had dinner here on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. Staff was friendly and efficient and willing to explain anything you weren’t familiar with. Our starter was red lentil soup which was flavorful with just a suggestion of heat. Portion of cup size was generous and arrived hot but not steaming. Also, although hot tea was not on the menu, I asked for it and was greeted with smiles and a cup of wonderful Turkish tea. I’m a milky tea person and the only non herbal tea I drink straight is Turkish tea. By the way, this is what the restaurant staff drinks so it’s always hot and fresh. My main was the dinner Kabob and the meat was both crisp and tender with lovely seasoning. Served with perfectly prepared rice and grilled vegetables. Because this is a simple dish the quality of ingredients and preparation was clear. My husband had tiropita which was a very large serving of fillo with a spicy meat filling. It was topped with a sauce and he chose tomato over onion. Would suggest asking for sauce on the side as having it directly on the pie sogged the crispy pastry as the meal progressed. However he agreed that it was delicious and would have taken the leftovers if they had been separate. We were too full for dessert but left happy with our choices.

This is a very good family restaurant in Freeport. Nice choices for lunch, good value, ambience and service. A very good alternative to the more pricey touristy locations on Main Street. Large outdoor deck for summer dinning.

Love this place! Unfortunately the deck was full, but inside was nice too. Good drinks, friendly staff, love the food! Bummed there was no Sangria that night, but we will be back. This cute tree is across the street!

I had my birthday lunch at the Mediterranean Grill. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared.

Authentic gyros and chicken kabobs in the middle of nowhere Maine was a nice surprise, as were the roasted vegetable skewers.

When your told they just sold the last Gyro, during lunch, well that's disappointing. When you substitute for the chicken kabob and only get 4 pieces in your sandwich you begin to wonder.
