I'm in Maine, and they are serving Mrs. Butterworth and DO NOT have real maple syrup. The food is subpar - the actual quality of the food is bottom rung - I really didn't enjoy it ... none of it.My coffee tastes like I'm drinking frothed milked. Where's the coffee? If you are considering coming here .... well, I wouldn't go again.

I do not think the written word can capture how bad this chai was, but I will try: Worst chai of my life, and ridiculously expensive. It was literally a tall glass of oat milk, with simple syrup. Absolutely no spices. Lukewarm. I cannot believe my friend and I spent $22 on two glasses of plain oat milk and a muffin to share. 0/10 do not recommend

OMG. They buy cooked eggs!!! They do not cook or bake anything! It's all "canned" things that look like baked goods. And Art? Fine Art? Not. I don''t know how anyone that likes food can give this place a good rating at least for breakfast.Th couches and arm chairs are wonderful to lounge in. I'll give it that.Dietary restrictions: Well... we wanted eggs with no salt. Can't do that when they buy cooked eggs.

Decent espresso. It was not as amazing as I would have wanted given the quality of the coffee shop it came from. The shop has a nice layout, amazing atmosphere, and pretty darn good workers. However the espresso left a bit to be desired in strength and flavor.I had a pastrami sandwich later in the day that was…..PHENOMENAL. No complaints there. That lunch was amazing. Just wish my espresso double shot had been more inspiring.

First time visit yesterday. My french toast was not even room temperature.Potatoes a little too seasoned. Very good bacon but, not crisp as requested.Louder than I expected for the size. Was rather surprised at how costly it was.Very alternative staff.I won't be going back and I do not recommend this cafe.

This is a very cozy and large cafe in which you can get delicious brunch, study and catch up on homework, or get a drink to catch up with friends. The seating area is pretty big with tables and couches. There's a variety of selections on their menu with different pastries and drinks to choose from. The service is quick. The Saco was a 4.5 out of 5. I love the addition of guacamole and the size of the sandwich is pretty filling. The everything bagel is perfect and soft. The side of home fries was a 3.5 out of 5. I would've preferred if the potatoes were cut bigger or if the portion size was bigger. They also have merchandise likes shirts etc. to choose from. Overall, I would definitely try something else again!

Great for light lunch. Many options for sandwich & wrap. You can enjoy all the art works on the wall done by local artists.

service is terrible - our order was wrong twice and the staff had a bad attitude when we asked them to correct it. after the 2nd we didn't even bother - we just ate something we didnt order. They also run out of the same soup the few times we have been here.. Their comment is always that it is a very popular soup which is not really an answer.I will never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

The place can get crowded on the weekends, but great coffee and art collection.

Came in to grab a two sandwiches before night shift a was in line at 2:20 an at 2:25 I go to order an I’m told the kitchen is closed. The sign on the register states the kitchen closes at 2:30 an the people right in front of me were able to order. Can’t say I’ve written many reviews an never one negative but I certainly won’t be back an won’t recommend this to the travel nurse community.

Was grossed out! The guy laying across the counter on his cell phone grabbed my cup of water by the top with no lid after handling his cell phone. Man that is where I put my lips! Hard telling where his cell has been. Anywhoo it all comes back to that saying you have time to lean you have time to clean! And LOTS of cleaning up needed to be done! People had to sit at dirty tables! The trash can doors were NASTY! Etc! They never gave me my pickle and chips with my order. I had to go back and wait for someone to wait on me again to get them.

In my opinion, the Met is the most local-friendly spot in town. Their prices are very reasonable, their rewards system is the strongest of any place in town, and if you work in town, there are additional benefits. The people are always warm, welcoming, and very helpful.I have been happy with all the food and drinks I have bought at the Met. Everything always comes out fast too! Their menu is fairly simple and small, mostly sandwiches, salads, and flatbreads, but it does have some more unique items than many places in town. They also have a wide selection of pastries and desserts, which have always been decent. This also seems like a nice place to work or sit for a while. They have good Wi-Fi, comfortable seating, and clean restrooms. The only downside is that management does not seem to support people working here very well. Their menu changed months ago, yet their website still displays the old one. People in-store apologized profusely and said they have requested this change numerous times, but the owners/mangers have not made these changes. It is very clear that there is good comradery and collaboration between people working, but there seems to be some disconnects in communication and management that clearly come from the top. Hopefully this will change, because the people in store deserve better. This is my only reason for giving four stars not five.

Ordered two coffees (one black dark roast and one funky monkey latte) and a mountaineer breakfast sandwich with ham on a sesame bagel. The Mountaineer was, genuinely, with no exaggeration, the best breakfast sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. My husband says his coffee was the best dark roast he's had that he didn't brew himself. We will definitely be coming back here.

Overall a decent place. The coffee is back to being as good as it used to be earlier in the year. During the months of June and July the baristas seem to have changed, with the new ones not performing up to the former standard. The pricing is ok. The coffee feels a little overpriced, but still better than what Starbucks has (although Starbucks is a better choice if you use their free refill). The meals do feel overpriced by a couple of dollars; the flavor profile is nice, but doesn't warrant the pricing. The atmosphere used to be classic and lovely, now it's more radio-esque. The music has tended to be louder, and less relaxing than in the past. I preferred the non-intrusive piano over the radio. One thing I dislike is the habit of keeping the door WIDE OPEN. It's the winter, it's cold, and I'd like to enjoy my coffee without feeling rushed to leave because the seating area is cold. They might be doing it for a reason unbeknownst to me, but it makes my experience a rather gloomy one; I'm essentially sitting outside in the cold. The customer service is lovely! As is the seating arrangement!
