Turkey Italian

I ordered to our Brunswick location tonight at 5:30, had some errands to do, got there 20 minutes after they said it would be ready, it wasn’t, the poor young men making sandwiches and doing oven work never came to the counter, the older gentleman finally came over and said he was waiting on our one hot sandwich, which they never started until I said I was there, 20 minutes later they realized the hot sandwich was done, wrapped it and put it next to our cold sandwich order, 10 minutes later I mentioned I thought my order may be complete, they handed it to me and walked away, no sorry, no have a good night. Got home and both dagwoods, they were half wrapped with barely any thing in them. One boy had very long hair dangling in his eyes, (really hope there’s no hair in our food, ) not a good experience, and I’ve lived here my entire life and have used them a lot, not again for a very long time 😡

No olives in an Italian?.... 🤔

My expensive "chef salad" didn't even have half a piece of cheese nor half a slice of ham and turkey. An absolute ripoff!

This is for the Freeport store. I used to go there all the time and it was great and always packed. I stopped in tonight with my mom and it was very disappointing. No customers were there. There were 3 young people behind the counter. The cashier girl did not know what was in a dagwood, but one of the guys knew. I ordered a ham dagwood and an order of bacon mac n cheese. It was quick! The mac n cheese was not even luke warm. On top of the mac n cheese were what looked like those thin, precooked bacon slices from a box thrown on top of it. It was $12 for the mac n cheese. One guy was at least trying to act professional as the other guy was smirking and laughing about it. They ran it back through the oven. It was not hot but warm for 2 minutes then was cold again. The dagwood was mediocre. For a ham dagwood, the bacon mac n cheese, 2 sodas and a bag of chips it was $33.

don't get me wrong they have amazing food at the augusta location but the woman who was managing the place (melissa) is absolutely absurd. the amount of attitude not only I received but also an employee working was absolutely ridiculous. She berated this poor girl in front of customers and I'm honestly surprised you're able to keep any employees at that location just based on the 10 minute interaction I saw today. and this wasn't the first time. I'd say a new manager needs to happen.

My husband and I just had lunch at the Sam’s Italian Restaurant in Augusta, Maine. The cranberry almond chicken salad sandwich was excellent, and I had to save half of it for later because it was so huge. My husband had the chicken parmigiana sandwich and he said it was the best he ever had. Kind, friendly employees. The place was nice and clean. Glad we found this restaurant. We will definitely be back soon.

The staff was awesome. Excellent quick friendly service, the manager was very well experienced and had the kitchen running very smoothly and quickly. Which is the only reason I gave it three stars. The pizza is absolutely awful, the quality of the toppings, the bake, it's just horrible one of the worst pizzas I've ever had.

Went for lunch and got a meatball sub. There were two people behind the counter. I walked in and no one greeted me, or told me where the menus were. Service was absolutely awful and the meatball sub was cold. Terrible service and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Overpriced for a sub.

THE ABSOLUTE WORST SUB I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LONG LIFE
ITALIAN SUB HAD 1 slice of mystery meat 1 piece of cheese and sliced vegetables
DO NOT GO THERE UNLESS YOU DONT CARE FOR GOOD FOOD

Food was alright. We got a quart of ziti for 2 of us (ended up being way too much but neither of us was particularly hungry). It was literally a tub of ziti noodles and plain pasta sauce. The whoopie pie was really good! Nice drink selection too. We came in pretty late, and the employees were kind and helpful to us! Good restrooms, nice and clean. Probably wouldn't go back but if I did I wouldn't get the pasta again.
