This probably isn't going to be a fair review because I'm comparing them to a much better place down the road. I stopped in here because the Freeport Cafe was lined up out the door, and there's a reason for that. The food here was OK, but the portion sizes were a bit small for the price. It wasn't as tasty either, or as filling. I don't usually care about the decor, but the Freeport Cafe blows them away here too, also nice views of the marsh and surroundings. I'm glad I tried something different, but I should have waited for a seat at the Freeport Cafe instead. All that being said, if I were to between here and McDonald's, I would choose here.

You get a lot of very good food at a very good price. Our first time there. Breakfast only during weekends "Honey" the waitress said to my wife. (She had ordered a Reuben). She had the veggie omelette and I had The Sunrise, which came with three eggs (I chose scrambled) Boston baked beans, hash browns or home fries (I chose hash browns), toast(2) (I chose marble rye and so did my wife), and corned beef hash. Everything was quite good. I would eat here again. Everything was flavorful, the toast was buttered, and nothing was over-seasoned, and there was plenty of everything. Butter, jams, and jellies on the table. Tables and chairs. This place is probably full at peak times. One TV screen. Alongside Route 1 just south of Freeport. Enough parking for the number of tables (12?). The arrival of the food didn't take long. The waitresses were a little too...familiar. My said "unpolished", but not a deal breaker.

Service was so unwelcoming. Confederate flag on a chair. Server was incredibly rude (specifically to a child). Walked out. Can’t support this type of establishment. Would rate 0 if possible. Run far far away.

It’s a Maine breakfast place, a “want more coffee hun” service. My kind of place. Eggs toast greasy home fries toast slice of ham.

Went for breakfast and was not disappointed.

Service was prompt, coffee was fresh, Server was lovely, and the food was delicious. You can tell a lot of care was given in the preparation. The cinnamon toast is not something to miss! We have found our new breakfast spot!!!

Phenomenal service and food! We were 10 of us, wet, soggy, and starving after breaking camp in the rain! So delicious and the staff friendly!
