We are visiting Freeport from Rhode Island and were looking for a nice spot for coffee and small bites. The Bakeshop was it! The coffee was delicious, the food was amazing and the service spot on. Gage made the best sandwiches - we had the breakfast mozz on focaccia and the turkey club - both full of flavor and just right! Can’t wait to come back!

I went for their gluten free goods. The orange and chocolate chip scone is fantastic. My non gf wife loved it too and she’s pretty picky. I got a piece of focaccia and it’s really nice. I think toasted it’ll make a terrific sandwich bread. Highly recommended.

I not
Sure that I have EVER been a small restaurant where the food is so good and the employees are so happy! Everything from the sandwiches to the baked goods are excellent! On Friday night they had probably the best hot cocoa that I have ever tasted. Such a great chocolate taste. Thank you to all of the employees and to the owners for having such a great spot.

I eat GF and the owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. The only qualm I have is the chill in the air likely from the historic windows in the building. Other than that would be a 5 star..

Absolutely AMAZING food and drinks. We ordered two white chocolate lattes with caramel, a DIY sausage, egg, and cheddar sandwich on a croissant, a chocolate croissant, a massive peppermint brownie, and another DIY sandwich with havarti cheese, roasted red peppers, and caramelized onions on focaccia. Every item was so delicious. We will return here again and again for the food and friendly service (Mena T was the cashier who helped us). Would highly recommend anyone who visits Freeport to come here. If I could make one suggestion, I would love to have seen a rewards program, and possibly merch including reusable bags.

Eggcellent breakfast sandwich. Runny egg and delicious bagel. A tad on the expensive side, but worth it.

Nice place with sincerely friendly service. I tried The Harvest breakfast sandwich and can hardly wait to try some of the other delicious options 😋. Keep up the great work and I'll hope to see you soon and often 😊

The service was horrible. The teenager at the cash register did not know how to greet us or lead us through our purchase. The spices on the gyro made me nauseated. We've tried this place multiple times and have never had a good experience.

This is a very nice and relaxing sandwich shop right down from the LL Bean shops. There's plenty of seating downstairs with overflow seating and lounge upstairs. There also very nice outside seating out front. I ordered the turkey club sandwich which I was outstanding. I highly recommend it! This is definitely worth a stop.
