Closed and moved yo Portland. The store in Freeport is no more. It has moved. I think it is on Hanover street in Portland.

Was hoping to try some different flavors but this location is not accessible. The bread is very good. I'll have to stick with the choices in the supermarket as I can't get in here.

Great breads and treats! Just please have your worker that is wearing gloves change the gloves between handling money and handling breads…it defeats the purpose of gloves, GROSS!

A lot of people love When Pigs Fly's bread. It's not my favorite, but I buy it at my local supermarket once in a while and I've been to their Kittery bakery/restaurant/bar. When I went to their Freeport bakery, it was mid-afternoon and they had run out of almost all their bread and pastries. They also have jams, sauces, honey, mustards and other gourmet items for sale.

Good bread made daily that they cut for you.The lady running the counter is incredibly grumpy though, and seems upset if she has to cut it.

Fresh made bakery sold daily. Get there early because the locals buy most of what's made, earlier in the day. Free parking in the bakery's lot or on the street.

Nothing to do with the bread itself, but there delivery drivers are thief’s.

This bakery is incredible! Best fresh baked goods you can imagine. Great breads fresh daily abd always seversl different kinds. Some cookies. Muffins (I dont know what else to call them) were a find. several different flavors, some very unique. Dont miss the jellies, jams, and preserves, and even a few "sauces." This store is worth a stop!

Fresh bread and a few other items for sale. We are fortunate to be able to buy some of the bread choices at our local supermarket. You won’t eat mass produced bread again!

Would have scored a 5 but they were out of most of my first options. Nice stop for homemade bread baked daily. Probably 30 varieties or so, but you better come early if you want your favorites. Most of the baskets were empty by 4pm. Several options for jellies, spreads ad oils, several good looking cookies onsite as well, opted for a blueberry/lemon.Very nice people and locally owned.
