Thick crust. We love both thin and thick. Vinny's is thick. And to die for. And coupled with the fact that VINNY is a welcoming gentle Maine soul.....well how can your taste buds possibly RESIST!
Come in the spring when you can visit the Sugar Shack across the street and also the famous Sherman Farms, but definitely stop in here for the best, cheapest and largest selection of fruits and vegetables anywhere. And you can read the newspapers they glued to the walls when they made the building in the 1700 s as insulation. You really need to visit this place. It's beautiful, especially in the Fall.
Although I had driven by Weston's Farm in Fryeburg many times, I had never gone inside their store. This summer, I purchased a CSA share. I am so happy I did! This is the only farm stand in the area I'll go to now! Upon entering the store, you are greeted with an intriguing gift shop area that you will want to take your time exploring. Continue into the farm stand area to find fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meats, canned items, maple syrup and other goodies....
