Went here for dinner last week. Finally found a restaurant that had good food And decent prices with good service and ambience. Both meals statler chicken and salmon were very good and scallop app was fantastic. Wine prices were decent and waitstaff were good. Would go back again.

This is a beautiful restaurant with lots of character. The people who work here are always nice and accommodating. And the food is very good.

The food was excellent. This is the first time we had eaten in the bar. Much prefer the dining room.

Oxford House Inn continues to be our favorite dining place. The staff are friendly, professional and attentive. And the food is just wonderful! We always look forward to our next meal there!

Beautiful atmosphere in a lovely inn. My friends and I had a table by the fire in the front room. The food was delicious and the service was great.

Didn't know ownership had changed. Cocktails were mediocre. Wine selection was terrible. Had a Bolognese that was bland and boring and the pasta was pasty. Used to be a go to for a special night out. Scratch that. One redeeming factor was the service. Waitress was spot on. Overall, not worth the money!

Wonderful experience! However Open Table did not let us know that we could make a reservation downstairs in the pub. When we arrived there was a table there and so it worked out.

The Oxford House is our go-to place in the vicinity (we live just over the border in NH) for a special meal any time of the year. In Summer we love sitting on the screeded porch and last night we ate in the cozy/casual pub/bar down stairs. Same great food. Same great service. We are grateful to have such a wonderful restaurant so close by.

We just moved to Stow Maine and this was our first time out and first time to the Oxford Inn. It was a great experience, realty relax, people we wonderful, food was 5 star but not pretentious, felt like I was in someone's home. I would recommend seating out front where the fireplace is, it's gas but it's a beautiful room. Highly recommend!!

This was by far the best inn that I have ever stayed at! My friend and I came to Maine/New Hampshire just for a weekend trip, and got to stay here at the inn for two nights. The service is incredible. Lill, Donna, the waitresses at the restaurant were all the sweetest, most down to earth people I have ever met. From the moment we checked in, they made us feel at home, and got us water and ice as we were settling down. They also checked in on us to make sure that we were fine hiking during a pretty windy day—they genuinely go above and beyond for every single aspect of our stay. The rooms were also great! Chamber room 3 was huge, with lots of natural light and a beautiful, brand new bathroom. We would absolutely come back!

My husband and I have been to the Oxford House restaurant many times over the years. Tonight we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The moment we arrived we were greeted with a welcoming smile by the new owner, Lillian. Then we were quickly shown to our table for two in the back of the house where the view of the valley and White Mountains beyond was spectacular. Service was friendly and prompt. We never felt rushed and the waitress always managed to be there when we needed her. After enjoying two perfect cocktails our dinners arrived and the food was delicious. The bread pudding in caramel sauce was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. Bottom line - OHI is the best restaurant in this entire area. Go there and see for yourself and you will not be disappointed.

Our first visit. My wife and I enjoy visiting/eating at old country inns. Oxford house did not disappoint. Morgan, our server was friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. We look forward to a return visit when we're back in this area again.

The new owners have taken the OH dining experience to the next level. The special ( swordfish) was perfect, moist and tender. Another great meal at our go to restaurant for date night.
