My husband and I laughed at the reviews about the service before deciding to eat here. We were pleasantly surprised. The bartender was nice, attentive and prompt. The food was better then expected, but nothing fancy.

This is a cute little place but we were told repeatedly if we weren't drinking copious amounts of drinks we would have to leave and go next door. We are stuck in this airport for 2 hrs due to delayed luggage and we wanted to casually drink and watch the game. The place is empty. But they want the chairs for future patrons that might show up! Lol tip will be minimal.

I have never seen such rude service by anyone wanting business in their pub. Sent people away when there were empty tables. Why even bother running the business?

If only TripAdvisor had negative stars; I would give Refueler Pub a negative five. I entered Bangor Airport only to find out I had missed my flight home. I was looking at not only the additional expense of paying for another flight, a long wait time to get another flight, but also the potential of having to spend the night at the airport. I learned I had only fifteen minutes to drag all my luggage upstairs in order get something to eat before all the restaurants closed. I walked into the Refueler Pub to sit down, order a drink, and collect my thoughts. I didn't get the chance. Instead, I was confronted by a very rude bartender who seemed inconvenienced by my presence. When I asked if it were possible to get a drink before they closed, Celina (the bartender) stated she would serve me if I "dropped (my) attitude". I walked out. As a business owner, if I talked to my customers the way Celina spoke to me, I would be out of business. The following day, as I was waiting on a six-hour delay for a flight, I learned many others had a horrible experience with this particular bartender. I even had people who were in the Pub come to me after the incident and tell me how rude they thought she was to me. I would advise anyone going into Bangor Maine Airport to avoid the Refueler Pub; at least until they replace the obnoxious bartender.

Hours did not match publicly-listed hours on Google. They need to fix that and curate their hours properly.

I stopped in here for a quick lunch while waiting for my flight. Had an excellent lobster roll. Service was fast and friendly.

The older lady that’s a bartender there was incredibly rude. I’m 46 years old and she wouldn’t let me so much as sitdown at the bar with a friend because I didn’t have my ID on me, even though there was a little kid sitting right behind me with his dad. She then proceeded to give us attitude on multiple occasions so we left without giving them our business. Based on the other reviews it looks like I’m not the only one who’s had a negative experience with her.

Incredibly rude bartender. She obviously did not want us there. Hands down the rudest I’ve been treated by a bartender.

Excellent BLT. Solid stop!!! Recommended Worth stopping before security. Security in Bangor is quick

Not open on a Sunday during football season is the dumbest decision you could make as a pub and grill in an airport.

Decent burger, but they rush you out of there. Even though there were empty tables at the time, they turned the football game off and put on the weather channel to e orange folks to leave even though I ordered $25 in food and drinks over one hour - apparently I needed to be on a three drinks an hour pace ....
